1. What is a code of ethics?

It applies to societies in the professional aspect and is adopted, in the middle of

the codes are expressed the correct duties, and the personal obligations of the
profession.

The code of ethics collects the values, principles and moments of conduct that
make up the culture and organization of this. By means of specific norms and
situations

2. What are the objections to codes?

3. What do the codes of the Engineering Societies mean?

They have a process of changes, at first it was a way of doing business, they also
explain the duties that engineers have to do with the results, the process of a
public service and security and now empathize with safety, public health and the
protection of the public. Environment

4. What are the two codes of ethics? Explain each one shortly.

The IEEE code is short and busy in generalities. This code is more likely to be
more understandable. An important duty is the protection of the environment.

The NSPE code is long and more detailed. This code is more explicit that covers
more ground, focused on being detailed and useful for very specific cases, so it
is less read and understood in depth. An important duty is the duty of the engineer
with his employer.

5. Are there any internal conflicts in codes? How can you resolve them?

If there is an internal conflict of the code since the employer can ask the engineer
for an unreliable design for the public.

Through the NSPE it says:

I.4 That the engineer must comply with the employer's order, but there is another
code I.1 that the safety of the public is an important point.

To solve these problems, codes are used by hierarchies as shown in I.x.

6. Are codes and professional societies able to protect employees? Why or why
not?

If you can protect yourself in a limited way, since there are no members of
professional societies and engineering societies are weak.

They serve as an attack on employment when it comes to unethical behavior and

who asks you to participate in unethical acts.

7. Are there any other types of codes of ethics? Which ones? Explain.

The corporate codes that lead to the following codes for the ethical use of
computers and the ethical code for students.

The codes of professional societies can not be explicit since there is no means
for a professional society to enforce its code in a reasonable manner.

The corporate codes, since a company can adapt its code to the individual
circumstances and the unique mission of the company.

These codes give employees access to corporate policies and guidelines. But,
as with professional codes, it is important to remember that these codes can not
cover all possible situations that an employee can find good judgment.

8. How can you avoid impediments to ethical behavior? Which responses can be
given? Are they right or wrong? Explain each one.

In order to avoid impediments to ethical behavior, look for the rules that involve
my action and the subject of the conversation, it is good to be informed.

The answers.

It is fine if an internal end is carried out so that it is preferable to avoid carrying

out processes of codes where the employee and the employee are involved.
