The undersigned are Grade 12 STEM X students conducting a research entitled


“Evaluating Volunteered Geographic Information: Providing an Efficient Typhoon Risk
Management and Response in Benguet using Crowdsourcing”, as partial fulfilment of the
requirements for the course Practical Research 2. The study aims to explore and further
understand the collective interpretation of disaster, particularly of typhoon management
and response professionals toward the usage of volunteered geographic information in real-
time management and response.
In relation to this, they are humbly requesting your good office for the approval to
leave the school premises during class hours on Monday, February 4, 2019, to conduct an
interview with their respondent. This is primarily due to the time set by their respondent is
during class hours. Rest assured that the students will utilize this opportunity to accomplish
their objective responsibly.
