What is fitness?
-Base on what I’ve searched, fitness is not all about the physical condition of a
person, but it covers all the aspects of how a certain person could be healthy in
terms of its emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical condition. To be considered
fit, a person must have energy to do things well, healthy diet to reduce risk of
health problems, proper exercise to maintain strength and endurance of the
body, and be optimistic to prolong a healthy and quality life.

How does someone can maintain fitness?

-A person can maintain their life fit, if they make exercise as a habit. Doing
exercise once in a month is not acceptable for this; you should make it twice or three
times in a week to achieve the fitness you want to have in your body. And practicing this
habit would also help a person to start the day in positives vibes, energetic and
productive way. Rewarding yourself for your achievements will also keep you motivated
and strive harder and set yourself away from stress. With your food, control your
cholesterol level and eat balance diet to maintain healthy body.

What is exercise, give examples?

-Exercise is basically an activity requiring physical effort and used some


equipment to improve your health and maintain your body fit. The examples of these
are lifting weights, climbing stairs, cycling, push-ups, sit-ups, squats, dance, working with
resistance bands, etc.

Why do we need to exercise?

-Of course, doing exercise will help us maintain and achieve fitness and makes us
more conditioned in every situation that we may deal with. Also it gives us the
fulfillment and satisfaction on ourselves that motivates us to do things in more
productive and energetic way.
What are the benefits of exercise?

-The benefits of exercise are it makes you feel happier every single day, satisfied
with your health and body condition, free from illnesses such as hypertension and
diabetes, increases your energy level, relax your body, help you think faster, composed
your body to start the day, and many more.

TUP VS. EARIST

RTU VS. TUP


(RTU WINS)

The first picture was taken in Marikina Sports Center; it was a women basketball game
having the two teams from TUP and EARIST competing to be on the finals. On the first
part of the game, TUP got the lead and all throughout the game they got the
momentum that gave them their wins against their opponent. It was a great matched
because I saw the determination of each team to win the game, but then it must be one
winner in every game and TUP got it!
The second picture was taken in Technological University of the Philippines; it was a
women volleyball game having the two teams from our own campus RTU and the home
court of game TUP. In three sets of the game, RTU got the momentum and continue to
beat the opponent in each set. Obviously, RTU got the favor and win the match against
TUP volleyball team. On this game, I saw the eagerness and determination of our own
RTU volleyball team to win and move to the finals of the SCUAA 2018. With that, I salute
them and very proud on their performance in each game. They really give their best and
continue to raise the pride of Rizal Technological University!
