Foreword

 The IDEAL (Seamless MPLS) solution allows for large-scale

dynamic networking, lowering performance requirements on case-
shaped devices and reducing pressure on aggregation devices.
 Inter-AS/domain Mobile services include:
 S1 Flex services: user-plane S1 services from an eNodeB to an
SGW and control-plane S1 services from an eNodeB to an
MME
 X2 services: including X2 services on one access ring/domain
and across access rings/domains
 This section describes how to configure local switching Ethernet
service bearer and protection in the HVPN+Labeled BGP solution.

Objectives
 After completing this course, you will be able to:

 Design MP-BGP Relationships for LTE X2 Services.

 Deploy LTE X2 Services for within a ring and across rings.

Inner-AS X2 Services :
HVPN+Labeled BGP (Multi-AS)
• Inner-ring X2 routes from a CSG to another CSG:
The next hop is not changed.
VRF • Inter-ring X2 routes: An ASGs changes the next
hop to the ASG itself.

MP-BGP Checking Procedure
1. Run the display bgp vpnv4 all peer command to check information about
the specified VPNv4 peer on a PE.

2. Run the display bgp vpnv4 all routing-table command to check

information about the VPN-IPv4 routing table on a PE or an ASG.

3. Run the display ip routing-table vpn-instance vpn-instance-name

command to check the VPN routing table on a PE.

4. Run the display ip routing-table vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ip-

address verbose command to check whether the tunnels and MED
values configured for the VPN instance are correct.

5. Run the ping/tracert -vpn-instance command on a PE to ping the remote

PE.
