 Ponder over Life after Death

And it is Allah who sends the winds, and

they stir the clouds, and We drive them
to a dead land and give life thereby to
the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is
the resurrection. (Quran 35:9)

 1400 years before, in the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (‫)ﷺ‬,
he informed us about the signs of the Last Day of this world
through Divine revelation.

Last day will arrive only after

the fulfillment of all the Signs
of the Last Day of this world.

 When will the Last Day of this World (The
Hour/Day of Judgment) Arrive?

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its

arrival? Say, "Its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will
reveal its time except Him (Allah). It lays heavily upon the
heavens and the earth. It will not come upon you except
unexpectedly." They ask you as if you are familiar with it.
Say, "Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most of the
people do not know." (Quran 7:187)

Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon
them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of]
its indications. Then what good to them, when it has come,
will be their remembrance? (Quran 47:18)

 Last Day Signs Already Fulfilled Before
Ø Appearance of fire in the Hijaz (appeared in 654).
Ø Claims of Prophethood by charlatans and liars.
Ø Two large groups of Muslims will fight in war (Battle of Siffeen) [took
place 36 AH].
Ø Fighting the Turk.
Ø A form of death which will kill thousands of Muslims (Understood to
refer to the plague of Amwas during the caliphate of ‘Umar ibn al-
Khattab (‫ه‬#‫ن‬#‫ى اهلل ع‬#‫) ) رض‬.
Ø Conquest of Jerusalem [Caliph Umar ( ‫ه‬#‫ن‬#‫ى اهلل ع‬#‫ ) رض‬in 637 CE and by
Salaahuddin Ayyoobi. By Allah’s permission, will be conquered again
through the hands of a group of believers, at which point the trees and
rocks will speak, saying, “Muslim, slave of Allah, here is a Jew behind
me, come and kill him”].

 Last Day Signs We can Observe Now!
Ø  The obesity would become widespread.
Ø  The barefooted Bedouins competing in buildings. Nowadays we find in the
Arabian Peninsula, the Arabs who used to be poor herders of sheep and
camels are competing in building the highest tower blocks.
Ø  Nudity of women while still being dressed.
Ø  Earthquakes will increase.
Ø  The increase in indiscriminate murder, so that the one who murders does not
know why he murdered, and the one murdered does not know why he was
murdered.
Ø  Sudden death.
Ø  Time will pass more quickly.
Ø  Tribulations (fitnah) will prevail.
Ø  Wine (intoxicants, alcohol) will be drunk in great quantities.
Ø  Trustworthiness will be lost, i.e. when authority is given to those who do not
deserve it.
Ø  The recitation of the Quran would be used like music to amuse people etc.

 Last Day Signs Await Fulfillment !
Ø  The end of a whip and shoelace will speak.
Ø  A man’s thigh will give news of his family.
Ø  People will go back to ancient weapons and mounts.
Ø  The new moon looking bigger than usual.
Ø  Trees and rocks speaking and supporting the Muslims.
Ø  Appearance of Mahdi [descendant of Fatima ( ‫ا‬#‫ه‬#‫ن‬#‫ى اهلل ع‬#‫ ]) رض‬from the East.
Ø  Appearance of Dajjaal (Antichrist).
Ø  Descent of Isa (Jesus)(‫)عليه السالم‬.
Ø  Destruction of the Ka’bah at the hands of a man from Abyssinia.
Ø  Appearance of the smoke.
Ø  Arrival of Gog and Magog [Yaajooj and Maajooj].
Ø  The rising of the sun from the West.
Ø  The appearance of the Beast.
Ø  The fire which will gathered the people together etc.
