"Well, first of all, I believe in an Almighty God, and I believe that all the world, whether

they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God. That's what I
believe. I believe that Islam is a great religion that preaches peace." - Former President
George Bush
At a news conference with Prime Minister Tony Blair on November 2003 in England a
reporter was told by George Bush that freedom is a gift from “the Almighty,” and
informing all (who's supposedly a Christian) it was his belief that “Muslims worship the
same Almighty” (God) that he did.
George W. Bush has denied the one of the most basic verses of scripture, that makes the
foundation of Christianity and true salvation. He has placed the cult of Muhammad
(Islam) on par with Christianity in interviews claiming that any man can reach God via
both or other ways, which is untrue. George Bush said not only that there are different but
equal routes to reach God but that Allah is the same God that is being called upon by
Christians, who's called Jesus or Yeshuah. The words of George W. Bush are primarily a
slap to the face of the Lord Jesus. He tried to put other gods on the level with God. Bush
does not understand even the basic tenants of the Christian faith. He's definitely not a
Christian. Here now is the body of evidence against Bush. (John 14:6) Jesus said unto
him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes unto the father but by me." The
only way to God is through His Son. (Ephesians 2:13-18) "But now in Christ Jesus ye
who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace,
who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in
ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he
might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father." (Colossians 3:17)
"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving
thanks to God and the Father by him."
Let's take a brief look at Islam and the beliefs (tenets) that it holds. Now the Koran
asserts that the god of Islam is the God of Christians and Jews (Sura 29:46). Though
nothing could be farther from the truth. The Koran states that Muslims, Jews and
Christians all worship the same God:
YUSUFALI: And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better
(than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury):
but say, “We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came
down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam).”
PICKTHAL: And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is
better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been
revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our Allah and your Allah is One, and unto Him
we surrender.
SHAKIR: And do not dispute with the followers of the Book except by what is best,
except those of them who act unjustly, and say: We believe in that which has been
revealed to us and revealed to you, and our Allah and your Allah is One, and to Him do
we submit. - Source: Quran, Sura (chapter) 29:46
However, Islamic tradition teaches that only Muslims will be finally admitted to Paradise.
Again, this contradicts the word of God along with with many other points that are listed
below.
The god of Islam, Allah, is most definitely not the God of the Bible. Allah is presented in
the Koran as an autocratic ruler who is aloof and arbitrary (Sura 5:40). Allah is
unknowable whereas the God of the Bible is knowable (2 Timothy 1:12). Allah is
impersonal, unlike the personal God the Scriptures reveal (1 Peter 5:6-7). Allah is
Unitarian (Sura 4:48) though the God of the Bible is One (Deuteronomy 6:4-5) His nature
and name is not the same as the Islamic one. Allah is capricious (Sura 2:284), whereas
the true God is trustworthy. And Allah is never anywhere presented as a god of love —
which is the essence of the nature of the true God (1 John 4:7-16).
Here is what the Koran says about the Son of God (Sura 4:171): “Believe in Allah and
say not ‘Trinity.’ Cease! It is better for you! Allah is only One God. Far is it removed
from his transcendent majesty that he should have a son.” The Koran denies point blank
that Jesus was the Son of God (Sura 112:2-3). It also denies His atoning sacrifice by
claiming that he never died (Sura 4:157). A substitute died for Him on the Cross. Jesus
was translated to Heaven, like Enoch, where He will remain until He returns to kill all
pigs, destroy all crosses, and convert the world to Islam. Jesus will marry, reign for 40
years and then die and be buried next to Muhammad in Medina. Jesus is characterized in
the Koran as nothing more than “an apostle of Allah” (Sura 4:171).
The Koran (or Quran) states that it is righteousness to believe in Allah, the last day,
angels, the Book, and the messengers (Quran 2:177). The major beliefs of Islam are the
following:
1) Monotheism: There is no other god than the one god Allah.
2) Angels: Among the angels, Gabriel appeared to Muhammad from heaven with the
words of the Quran.
3) Prophets: There are many prophets, including Jesus, but Muhammad is the last
prophet.
4) Scriptures: The Quran is the infallible, inerrant scripture revealed to Muhammad. The
Torah and the Gospel were revealed to Moses and Jesus as inerrant in their times but they
have become corrupt.
5) Judgement: Everyone will be judged by Allah.
6) Paradise and hell: Distinctly different eternal destinies await the blessed and the
damned.
Islam has five basic duties which Muslims must perform. They are known as the five
pillars of Islam.
Shahada:
Shahada is the Muslim profession of faith:
“I witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the prophet of Allah.”
Muslims say this when they wake up in the morning, and just before they go to sleep at
night.
Salat:
A prayer ritual performed 5 times a day by all Muslims over the age of 10. Salat is very
different from praying on the inspiration of the moment. A precise ritual is followed at 5
separate times of day which are set aside for devotion:
1) Between first light and sunrise
2) After the sun has passed the middle of the sky
3) Between mid-afternoon and sunset
4) Between sunset and the last light of the day
5) Between darkness and dawn

Sawm:
Abstaining each day during Ramadan, the 9th Muslim month. Sawm is usually described
as fasting, but it actually involves abstaining from all bodily pleasures between dawn and
sunset. Not only is food forbidden, but also things like smoking, chewing gum, and any
sexual activity.
Zakat:
Giving alms to the poor. This is a compulsory gift of 2.5 % of one’s savings each year in
addition to any charitable gifts a Muslim makes.
Giving in this way is intended to free Muslims from the love of money. It reminds them
that everything they have really belongs to God.
Money given as Zakat can only be used for certain specific things.
Hajj:
The pilgrimage to Mecca that all physically able Muslims should make at least once in
their life. Mecca is the most holy place for Muslims.
Jihad:
There are 164 Jihad verses in the Koran. Here's a small sample of them. From the Koran
2.178...retaliation is prescribed for you in the matter of the slain... 2.179 ...there is life for
you in (the law of) retaliation, O men of understanding, that you may guard yourselves.
2.190 ...fight in the way of Allah with those who fight with you...2.191 And kill them
wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and
persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque
until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the
recompense of the unbelievers. 8. 12 ...make firm those who believe. I will cast terror
into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off
every fingertip of them. 60:9 Allah only forbids you respecting those who made war upon
you on account of (your) religion [no fraternizing with the enemy]...61.4 ...Allah loves
those who fight in His way in ranks as if they were a firm and compact wall. 61.11
...struggle hard in Allah's way [Jihad] with your property and your lives... 61.13 ...victory
[in Jihad] near at hand.
As you can clearly see Christian and Muslims do worship and act far differently from one
another despite false reassurances that they are one and the same.
