SWITCHING PAGE ORIENTATION

Portrait to Landscape

1. Go to Page Layout tab

2. Click Next Page under the Section Breaks

3. Go to Margins then Custom Margins and Select desired orientation (Landscape).

 Margins for Landscape:

o Bottom, Right, Left: 1”

o Top: 1.5”

You should have at least a page similar to this:

4. Fix page numbering:

 On the last page edited (Landscape page from the example), right-click on

both the header and footer area and select Edit Header/Footer.

 Next, unselect Link to Previous on both header and footer and delete the

page number.

5. Click the footer area then go to Design > Page Margins > Vertical Right.

A page number will appear similar to this:

6. Next, go to Format > Text Direction > Rotate all text 90 degrees.

7. Lastly, select the page number and format it either using the [OCS] Page Numbering
style or manually formatting it to Times New Roman, font size 12. Press CTRL+R
to align right.

Landscape to Portrait
1. Follow steps 1-3 from the previous section with the exception of selecting Portrait
instead of Landscape. Follow the margin size indicated below.
 Margins for Portrait:

o Top, Bottom, Right: 1”

o Left: 1.5”

2. Click the footer and delete the existing page number.

3. Click the header and select Page Number > Top of Page > Plain Number 3

4. Format the page number accordingly.
