The Government have introduced online approval of Building Permissions under APDPMS
and since approvals are being issued without any inspection, post approval inspection need to be
taken as per rules.

Under provisions of Building Rules, there is no mandate for plinth level inspection. As such,

the inspection has to be taken up immediately after approval of Building permission irrespective of
stage of construction.

Inspections shall be confined to the following check list:

Post Verification

A. Building Plan a12proval stage.;

1. Approach Road details

2. All-round measurements and schedule of boundaries of the site

3. Topo details including circulation network

4. Restrictions of building activity - like water bodies, railway lines, electrical tower
lines etc.

5. Encroachment of Govt. Land if any

B. Occupancy Certificate Stage:

1. No. of Floors.
2. External setbacks.
3. Usage of the building.
 4. Parking space pro vision.

5. Abutting road width.

6. Rain Water Harvesting Structures as applicable.

7. Solar Energy Structures in Buildi_ngs as applicable.

8. Recycle of Water Treatment Plants as applicable.

9. Any other specific conditions imposed in the proceedings.

All the Town Planning Staff are instructed to follow the above checklist without fail, and TP

Staff shall take necessary action if any violations are indentified in the construction of building.
