JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall review, interpretation, analyses of the financial performance of the
Authority and for timely preparation of consolidated periodic financial performance evaluation reports.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Ensures proper and complete compilation of all financial data/ evaluations/analyses of current
and prior years financial performance
2 Performs in-depth analysis/ review functions relative to:
> Variances /gaps in financial data of the different PMO vis-à-vis plans and programs, past
performances and defined economic parameters
> Investigation and validation of rationale for spikes or lows in the PMO financial performance
profile to include effects of foreign currency fluctuations;tariff increase, volume of cargoes,
> etc.
Interpretation /evalutation of significant variances between actual financial data against
targetted performances
3 Evaluates/reviews correctness of financial ratios and monitors consistency in the data
composition used in the computation
4 Prepares special reports required by management and generates monthly/quarterly/annual
financial reports and schedules.
5 Coordinates with other operating units/ RC in the performance of review functions to ensure
correctness of actions to be performed thru the system.
6 Performs assigned roles in the computerized AFMS
7 Provides information on problem areas affecting financial operations and recommends needed
enhancements /revisions.
8 Assists the Finance Service Chief in accomplishing the tasks/activities of the Section.
9 Maintains technical knowledge by researching/reviewing current issuances of COA, GCG and
other government regulatory bodies
10 Performs other related functions

Professional Experience: Two (2) years of relevant Three (3) years experience as
experience Accountant/Auditor
Training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training
Knowledge Required:
Government laws, rules and regulations
PFRS, PAS
Skills Required:
Computer / MS literate
