Academic Advisor- Graduate Assistant August 2017 – Present

▪ Advised a caseload of 95-105 Arts and Sciences students on educational planning, major and career
discernment, college transition, professional development, and referrals to resources
▪ Provide drop-in advising in a fast-paced environment to a high volume of students concerning
registration changes, policy and procedure guidance and explanation, educational planning, and
departmental referrals
▪ Provide support and assistance to advisees facing a variety of personal as well as institutional
problems, questions and challenges
▪ Developed and implemented an Academic Success Coach Program for marginalized students on
Academic Probation that will now be an ongoing service provided through the college

▪ Re-designed the Mesa Court Housing duty procedures by creating a facilities quick guide, students

Orientation Staff Leader Returner April 2015 – September 2015
