Post Configuration Requirements

After installing and configuring, do the following:

1. Apply ADF Patch 25113405. This ADF patch is required for Release 11.1.2.4.900.

ADF Patch 25113405 also contains relevant fixes for ADF Patch 21240419, which is documented in the Financial Close Management Patch Set Update
11.1.2.4.250 Readme.

2. Install WebLogic Patch p20780171_1036_Generic(EJUW).

Note: Release 11.1.2.4.900 uses Release 11.1.2.4.000 as it base, except for Financial Reporting with PSU 11.1.2.4.708 and EPM Workspace with PSE
26950214. After the installation and configuration is complete you can apply 11.1.2.4.xxx PSUs to get the latest updates. To review the list of defects
fixed, use the Defects Fixed Finder which is available here https://support.oracle.com/oip/faces/secure/km/DocumentDisplay.jspx?id=1292603..

Known Issues
22834758 -- To run Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting Web Studio, you must enable proxying.

OHS Web Servers

On the machine where Oracle HTTP Server is installed, add the following to mod_wl_ohs.conf, substituting <host> and <port> for the Oracle WebLogic
Server host name and port where Financial Reporting is deployed.

<LocationMatch ^/frdesigner>
SetHandler weblogic-handler
WeblogicCluster <host>:<port>
WLIOTimeoutSecs 6000
Idempotent OFF

https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E57185_01/DMOOO/epm_11124900_readme.html 2/4
4/10/2018 Readme
WLSocketTimeoutSecs 60
</LocationMatch>

If you have clustered deployments where more than one Financial Reporting server is running, add WLCookieName FRWEBSESSID as follows:

<LocationMatch ^/frdesigner>
SetHandler weblogic-handler
WeblogicCluster <host>:<port>
WLIOTimeoutSecs 6000
Idempotent OFF
WLSocketTimeoutSecs 600
WLCookieName FRWEBSESSID
</LocationMatch>

IIS Web Servers

Complete the following steps:

1. Copy <EPM_INSTANCE_HOME>\httpConfig\VirtualHosts\hr to <EPM_INSTANCE_HOME>\httpConfig\VirtualHosts\frdesigner.

2. Change WlForwardPath=/hr to WlForwardPath=/frdesigner in

<EPM_INSTANCE_HOME>\httpConfig\VirtualHosts\frdesigner\iisproxy.iniupdate.

3. Update <EPM_INSTANCE_HOME>\httpConfig\VirtualHosts\iisproxy.ini with the new alias for /frdesigner by adding /frdesigner/*.

For example:

WlForwardPath=/calcmgr/*,/eas/*,/easconsole/*,/easdocs/*,/hfmadf/*,/oracle-epm -fm-
webservices/*,/HyperionPlanning/,/workspace/*,/raframework/,/biplus_webservices/,/hr/*,/frdesigner/*,/bea_wls_internal/*,/inte

4. Open IIS Manager, and then select Default Web Site.

5. Create a new virtual directory “frdesigner”, Alias: “frdesigner”, and set the physical path to:
<EPM_INSTANCE_HOME>\httpConfig\VirtualHosts\testApp1.

6. Restart IIS.

27737106 -- If you log off from EPM Workspace by clicking the Log Off link or by selecting File, then Log Off, and then you log back on to EPM Workspace
without closing the logon page, you will not see a Log Off link or a File > Log Off menu item.

As a workaround, exit EPM Workspace by selecting File, and then Exit, or close the browser window. When you do this, the next session will show the Log Off
link and the File > Log Off menu item.

27742448 -- In order to access Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Lifecycle Management in the Document Repository, users must
have the following roles:

Administrator

The Administrator role is in the “Default” Application Group in the “Document Repository” Application.

LCM Administrator

The LCM Administrator role is in the “Foundation” Application Group in the “Shared Services” Application.

27787630 -- Chrome is not supported in Release 11.1.2.4.900; however, if you do use Chrome as your browser, when you log on to EPM Workspace, you are
not warned that Chrome is not supported.

27797154 -- In Internet Explorer, if you have already logged on to EPM Workspace, opening a new browser tab and then pasting in an EPM Workspace URL
(such as the URL from the Email Link feature) opens the selected module (in this case, the Related Content module) in the pre-existing tab, but
unexpectedly leaves the newly-created splash screen open.

In Firefox, if you have already logged on to EPM Workspace, opening a new browser tab and then pasting in an EPM Workspace URL opens the selected
module, but unexpectedly creates a new window and leaves the newly-created splash screen open.

27833455 -- In Release 11.1.2.4.900, when you right-click a Financial Reporting report in EPM Workspace, the Open In Studio Preview option is not
supported.

27838804 -- In the initial 11.2.4.900 release, the Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting command-line utilities, such as the command-line Batch Scheduler and
Manage POV Utility, are not supported. These command-line utilities are planned to be added back in an upcoming release.

27866868 -- You cannot export multiple folders to a single file from the Explore Repository in Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management
Workspace. To workaround this, select reports or folders individually, or use Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Lifecycle
Management to export multiple folders.
