Abstract

The goal for this research is to find out whether mind can recognize and categorize
natural evolutionary sets in less time than non-natural evolutionary ones. An experiment has
been conducted to measure the response-time of recognizing positive and negative responses
towards sets of words, images and sounds. Evolutionary psychologists argue that our brains
contain numerous adaptations, realized in the form of processing modules, that are dedicated to
helping us solve specific problems that arose in our ancestral past (Tooby and Cosmides, 2005).
The human brain system may recall ancestral mechanisms dedicate specific threats (e.g. spiders
and fire) that constantly recurred throughout evolutionary time (New, and German, 2014). One
of the modules of evolutionary system is language. Human beings start with shouts and signals.
Then it is developed to label and categorize things to make it easier to follow rapid changes with
their dynamic world (MacWhinney,2005). My hypothesis that natural evolutionary should be
prioritized for visual attention and awareness for human mind and particularly female .This
hypothesis was tested using OpenSesame software and with participants of undergraduate
students of translation department in the experiment.
