1 Speech by Chairman Panel members
The Panel Head welcomed the panel members to the first
panel meeting and thanked all the English teachers for their
for their presence at the meeting.

2 Curriculum
2.1 Scheme of Work
The teachers have to prepare their scheme of work according to
their respective classes and hand over a copy to the Panel Head.

3 Format of writing lesson plan

3.1 En. Mohd. Riza suggested that we standardize the format of writing
the lesson plan in the record book.
3.2 The teachers were asked to refer to the format given by the SISC
and standardize the format .

4 Setting of Examination Papers for year 2017

4.1 The setting of exam papers has been scheduled as below:

5 ULBS and PLBS Assessment

5.1 The PLBS for the PT3 would be carried out as scheduled by the
Form 3 teachers.
5.2 ULBS for the form 4 students has to be carried out twice as
scheduled in Mar.until May for the first assessment and from July
until Sept. for the second assessment.
5.3 The form 5 students would be assessed once in the first term
before their best score is keyed into the system.
5.4 The ULBS files would be updated and passed over from Form 4
to the present Form 5 English teachers.

6 English Language Week

The English week has been scheduled on the first week of May
tentatively and all the English teachers would be involved in the
activities throughout the week.

7 Co-Curricular Competitons
The English panel would take part in the following competitions
as stated below :
Public Speaking - Pn. Mages
Choral Speaking - Pn. Jesmine and Ms. Parimala
Scrabble - Mr. Ganthan

8 Other Matters
8.1 Reference books based on literature would purchased for the form
3 students.
8.2 The teachers also requested for the purchase of A4 papers, marker
pens, ink and printer cartridge.
