Please read the following information carefully before teaching. This information is very important to
know and includes some of the basic professional standards SayABC expects Teachers to meet

Teachers are not eligible for the Referral Incentive if the candidate has not:
The Candidates has not provided the name of the referee during the interview
The Candidates didn’t register via referral link or supply the referral code during application
The Candidates didn’t complete at least one class.
Payment:
Definitions:
TNS - Teacher No Show: No entry into the classroom within 10 minutes of scheduled class
start time including teacher side technical problems. Tech
TLC - Teacher Late Cancellation: Cancellation of class within four hours of the scheduled
class time.
TC - Teacher Cancellation: Cancellation of class more than four hours before the
scheduled class time
TL - Teacher Late: Entry to the classroom less than five minutes before scheduled class
time
LR – Late Report: Completion of student report more than 12 hours after scheduled class
time
NR – No Report: Report not completed within 24 hours of scheduled class time.
LE – Left early. Left classroom before scheduled end time.
Teacher Attendance:
TNS, TL, LE, TC, TLC LR & NR have a strong negative impact on our customer experience,
and are to be avoided as much as possible. While we understand that occasional
A Teacher may be asked to cover a class with less than 24 hours’ notice. SayABC will confirm
with the Teacher that they can teach the class. If a Teacher accepts the late notice class and
conducts a successful lesson, USD $7 will be added to the total payment for that class.
A Teacher may be asked to take over a homeroom in the middle of a unit. If the Teacher
accepts the rest of the classes, USD $7 will be added for each class
Teaching guidelines:
Professional Conduct: In order to provide top-notch professional service to students, there
are certain guidelines teacher offers are of the highest quality. Any misconduct including any
illegal activity during or outside of class hours or any activity or actions that, in the
reasonable opinion of company, may injure or tend to injure the company or the reputation of
company may lead to termination of the service agreement. Whether behavior is
unprofessional is in the reasonable discretion of SayABC. Failure to adhere to these
guidelines may result in the immediate termination of this Service Agreement.
Ethical Behavior: Teachers shall maintain high levels of ethical behavior and
professionalism at all times during teaching in SayABC. Language, content and discussion
topics shall not be construed as being profane or offensive in any way. Any evidence of such
negative behavior or improper conduct shall result in immediate termination of services
provided.
Timely Login: Teacher shall adhere to login protocols and log into Teacher’s portal and
Skype as well as enter the class room a minimum of five minutes prior to the class start time.
SayABC reserves the right to cancel or reassign the class if Teachers do not login not login
on time and teachers will not be paid for such class. Failure to comply with log in protocols
may result in a record of tardiness or absence. Teachers may be blocked from teaching if
considered tardy or absent.
Computer and Internet: Teachers are responsible for acquiring all necessary technical
components required for providing the services, including but not limited to, web cam,
headset microphone device, personal computers and/or software, lighting, teaching
background, professional clothing and internet connection(s).
Student No Show: in the event that no students enter the classroom in the class, teachers
must wait in the classroom until the scheduled end of the class and click the Fireman button.
Equipment: Teachers systems are checked for compatibility during the onboarding process.
Teachers may only use approved systems and internet connections to teach. Failure to do
so can cause connection issues and may lead to temporary suspension.
Dress code and presentation: Teachers must wear clean and tidy clothes while teaching.
Teachers should not eat, chew gum, smoke, speak on a home / cell phones, fall asleep,
yawn or participate in any other activity not related to instructing the students.
Environment: There should be no ambient noise or other sounds that could distract the
student or detract from the quality of the Class. The student should enjoy a class free of
teacher’s background noise, including pets, people, telephones, music, or other distracting
sounds.
Backdrop: Should be a simple wall or drape that is light in color and located in a brightly lit
environment. We recommend Teachers create teaching backgrounds including the SayABC
logo and teaching props.
Type Requirement
CPU PC: CPU above Intel i3 4th generation or AMD A10 generation;
Bandwidth: 20M/sec download and 4M/sec upload, Teachers must always teach with LAN cable

connected. Ensure wifi is disabled before connecting the LAN cable
Headset: Teachers should not use any wireless or Bluetooth headset. USB or earphone jack
Headphone
are recommended.
Webcam: Do not use third party video effect software during class, such as ManyCam or
Camera
YouCam.
TEAMVIEWER should be installed before the class and keep it opening when you have class.
Others
VPN apps must be shut down during classes/lessons;
If you share your broadband with others, make sure they are not uploading, downloading and
playing video games during class times. Close all other programs (including minimized
programs).
Turn off third party applications, VPN, Anti-Virus software or other unnecessary
applications/websites during class
If a student has technical/attendance issues, please click the IT button/fireman button to ask
for help, making sure to remain in your class
If you have any emergency issues, please continue your class and click the IT button to ask
for help or contact Teacher Support.
