maiores nos últimos 20 anos;
vendo.
podem continuar a crescer profissionalmente também;
equivalentes e assumindo mais cargos de liderança;
Hoje eu sou Coach Executivo e Organizacional, Mentor, Consultor e ajudo empresas
sobrecarregarmos a mente.
professor diz muito bem, então me mostre o qualidades. O aluno enfia o dedo
professor sorridente e esperando a aprovação.

Pushing the edge – doing the things differently and seeing how far you can go
96% o four life is driven by our unconscious mind – which is basically
developed and build during our infancy
When dealing with FEAR, I help people find out when was the first time they
felt that fear, and I show to them that this is not it, this was in the past
The number one trade that makes people successful is PERCISTANCE –
you’re so determined that you’re going to make it happen
Your desire for change has to be greater than your fear in order for the
breakthrough to happen
Constant fight between the life you’re living and the life you want to live
How to figure out what you want to do?
o Enter a creative estate, like a child
o Clear your mind
o Look at what you loved doing as a kid: from 0 to 12; 12 to 20, etc…
o What things are in your bucket list of things you want to do before
you die?
o What do you like doing?
o What makes you smile?
o What gets you excited?
o What would you do all day for free?
o What would you pay to do if money was not an issue?
Power of storytelling – people don’t value their story
o Their journey
o We don’t want to live in the past, but we have to learn to value our
story
o People will remember a story and the valuable lesson of the story
o People get a lot stuck in their old story, or stories they herd form their
parents
You have to be coachable, willing to stay in the game and do the work

Most people don’t really have goals in life. Some have short term goals: go to
the bar tonight/this weekend, have a beer, get laid….but not really life goals,
big dreams, like, what age do you want to retire by? Have a Mercedes, by a
house in the beach or a ranch, travel the world, have a great life style…
Once you have your goals, you have to ask yourself are you interested in
achieving these goals or are you committed? The difference is that if you're
interested you'll do it's convenient you'll come up with stories and excuses
and reasons why you can't and you'll use your education as an excuse, you'll
use your stories as an excuse, you'll use the fact that your dad was a
cabdriver and was a gambler and never had any money. You'll use all of that
as your reasons why you can't. But if you're committed you will do whatever
it takes. You'll let go of your stories; you'll let go of your excuses; you'll let go
of all the reasons you currently have that are formulating your identity of
yourself and you'll learn how to let that go and become who you are destined
to become. If you’re committed, I can show you how.
So, you define your goals in several areas of your life, and then you have to
create new nero-connections, new nero-patterns:
o Build a visualization board, and
o Read everyday the list of your goals, running your fingers through
every line as you read them,
o After each paragraph of goals, you close your eyes and you have to feel
what it would be like (will be like) if that were true
o Repeat every single day during 1 year
What do you have to believe about the world and about yourself in order to
achieve those things? Record that and listen to it over and over, and over
again until you can recite them all by heart – POWER OF REPETITION – It is
normal for your mind to scream at you, in those moment, the old patters that
you have: “that is not possible!, you don’t deserve it! You can’t achieve this!”.
That is just the old patters the old you, that identity trying to fight for their
life, but with emotions, visualization, repetition and consistency on creating
conscious effort, over and over again, you’ll create new beliefs, new patters,
new synaptic connections. Your mind will basically say: “well I guess you
don’t need those old patterns anymore. You keep on activating theses new
one so lets just make theses new ones work and lets make them real!”
Now, the second step is the science of GOACL ACHIEVING, instead of goal
setting. At the end of the day, anybody can easily spend 5 minutes and write
down a goal, but goal achieving is something else: What do I need? How am I
going to do it? When? How am I going to measure it? Evaluate it? Correct
what has to be corrected? What recourses do I need? Who can help me with
it? Who has done this before?
Value of progress vs perfection: little incremental gains consistently
Failure is an opportunity to learn and there is a difference between a failure
and being a failure.
Why visualizing, emotionalizing, affirmations work? It has to do with circuits
in the brain and neuro chemicals that are released. So when we feel
something, chances are that we're going to release dopamine in the brain, the
feel-good neurochemical that activates the reward center of the brain, and
chance are if we feel that and we have this positive emotion around it and
that neural chemistry is flooding our brain in our body with feel-good
chemicals we're actually activating the motivational center of the brain. So
when we visualize, when we set a goal, when we take an action step, when
we emotionalize, when we read our goals, the initial flood of neuro chemicals,
dopamine, serotonin feel-good chemicals and then if we share it with a friend
oxytocin those three neuro chemicals, those are the neuro chemicals of goal
achievement. But then there's the other side of it. The other circuits of FEAR
of STRESS (norepinephrine, cortisol or epinephrine) the stress hormones can
be released as well and so I'm fascinated and I want to teach people the stuff
about beliefs, self esteem, self worth fears and the stuff that really holds
people back.
Today, we know most of the HOW’s”: stay healthy, put off weight, builds a
company, have a great relationship, etc. We know the HOW; the information
is out there. The question is: “why are we not doing the things we know we
should be doing or why are we not doing the things that we could easily find
out how to do?” - BECAUSE PEOPLE HAVE STORIES!!
In the 90’s there was a real estate company owned by an entrepreneur called
John Assaraf. They were going though a rough period and he decided that he
was going to try to train 75 of his employees to change their mindset. So
randomly he chose 75 people and asked them: do you want to do a 6 month
program to retrain your brain, your subconscious mind, around your beliefs
about what its possible for you to achieve and around you habits of what you
have to do in order to achieve that? So for 6 months they went through a
process of reading some material listening to some audio tape – there was no
streaming video back than – and taking some actions, that is, following the
instructions in the material – all of which was focused in their subconscious
mind which controls 90 to 95% of all our behaviors and decisions. Within 6
months that group increased sales by USD$100,000.
Part of this training is to help people understand what is your story like.
What's the story you're telling yourself? Because we all have a story. We have
a money story, a relationship story, a health story … we have a story for
everything and then that story keeps recreating our lives over and over and
over again and we have beliefs that support the story, we have habits that
support the story, we have people that support the story, we have systems
that support our story and so the question I always ask people is: “who
would you be with a different story?”
Book: Psycho Cybernetics – by Maxwell Maltz (neuro surgeon) : our brain has
a map of reality and any deviation on the physical level that does not match
the map, our brain deletes od distorts it.
Language patters are very critical – what the way you speak with yourself
EMOTIONS are all triggered at the subconscious level; they release a neuro
chemical that causes a felling. We are consciously aware of the felling. So a
good analogy is of a car: when a red light lights in the panel, you don’t just get
a hammer and smash it. It is a signal. We have o understand what that signal
means. Emotions are not positive or negative, they are empowering or
disempowering to varying degrees. That is how we explain how a fire-fighter
goes into a burning building: he feels fear, but the analyzes if the has the
needed knowledge, the skills, the preparation to deal with it in a safe way, If
yes, GO! If you don’t know, then you retreat!
When you feel FEAR, what should you do? Take 6 and call me system: take in
6 deep breath into your nose and out of your mouth, and that will oxygenate
your mind, your brain and call down; then do AIA:
o Awareness
What am I thinking right now?
What I am feeling right now?
What am I sensing right now?
What is my behavior right now?
o Intention
What is my intention right now?
o Action Step
What is one small action step I can take in the direction of my
intention?
We must learn how to manage our mindset (what you focus on) and our
emotions (because they drive our behavior: me are always moving away
from pain and in the direction of pleasure; but our brain moves away from
pain much faster because of survival mechanism)
Awareness is what gives you choice and choices is what gives you freedom.
Most people are living in a reactive estate because of their mindset, the
repetitive cycle they are in, because of the stories they choose to believe and
hold on to.
Neurologically, belief is a group of cells that have been connected and that
connection has been reinforced. Whatever we believe is true for US, but it is
NOT the TRUTH. When you were born, what believe did you have? Zero, not
one believes! So you learned what to believe and how to formulate your
beliefs from: parents, siblings, grandparents, close family and friends,
teachers at the kindergarten, TV, books (?) and we behave based on what we
believe, based on what we were taught. We were indoctrinated. So if we are
not aware of our beliefs, of our values and if we don’t deliberately analyze
and choose these beliefs, we might be behaving our lives away based on false
or inaccurate or disempowering beliefs. So, if a belief is a neuro pattern in the
brain, we might have some empowering ones, some useful ones, but chances
are that we also have some that are not that useful and not empowering and
some that are very limiting. The process to install or create new believes is
very simple. It requires work, training and consistency. Above all, it requires
commitment, that is, to really want to install the new belief. So, first of all,
you have to define what belief you want to have and then go really deep into
defining why you want that belief (What will you gain form it? How you’re
your life change? What will your life be like? Who else will gain from it?...);
then, the process is to make a list and read these new beliefs, listen to beliefs
that are empowering over and over and over again and you emotionalize
them and you visualize yourself actually acting out those beliefs and you
learn how NOT to pay attention to that little inner critic that says that's
bullshit, that's not true, that'll never come true, that's not you… If you learn
and you remember that that little voice is there to consistently keep you in
this homeostatic place and to protect the beliefs that are there – to keep you
in these known environment which it believes it is safer and that you actually
don’t have to follow that voice, just acknowledge that it is there to protect
you but it does not know better, then you can become whoever you want.
BEING COSISTANT: The latest research shows that to develop a new pattern
takes between 66 days and 365 days how do you help people. You have to
use intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and the first step is exactly what we
listed above: first define WHY is it important for you to be able to develop
these new beliefs (what will your life be like if you had them right now? what
would your family life be like?). You have to give them a benefit that's greater
than the switch cost. The switch cost is something that our brain resists. The
only human that likes change is a wet baby!! Every other human being is
resistant to it because safety-first (the new, the unknown can be dangerous)
and homeostasis and energy conservation. We are biologically wired not to
want to change so we have to deliberately coax the brain into motivational
reasons, emotional reasons, you have to have intrinsic reasons of why must
you do this. You can use pain as a frame: are you okay with your life being
like this at this age? In five years? In ten years? And 20 years? And if you're
okay with that, you're not a candidate for change. But if you're committed to
letting go of the old so you can create the new - and you create motivations
every day (that's where the power is). Anybody can do one minute or ten
seconds, but we are looking for consistency. Commitment. Progress, not
perfection! If you can start to formulate a habit, a daily habit, a weekly habit
it doesn't matter how long it is. If you can create that space in your brain that
on this day, at this time, this is what I do. And you do that repeatedly. That
becomes a habit: we are all creatures of habit; because habits run
themselves. They are subconscious programs that just run by themselves.
The 3 boards: (1) The Visualization Board, (2) The Accomplishment Board,
and (3) The Crap Board (Conflict, Resistance, Accomplishments and
Procrastination) – this can help you SEE the challenges in front of you and
makes it easier to find options of how to deal with it and find solutions: call a
mentor, a coach a friend…
