Objective : To introduce students with various types of occupations in the real life

Learning outcomes : By the end of the lesson students should be able to;

1) Guess the occupations based on the descriptions provided in the video

2) Fill in the blanks in the questions with the correct answer

3) Write an essay on their ambitions

Moral Values : 1) Every individual must have courage to choose and work hard to achieve

their goals

2) Every person has to dream of a noble occupation that promotes kindness

towards the human beings

3) Every person has the freedom to choose their own occupations related to

their expertise and skills

Educational Emphasis : Preparation to the real world. The learning prepares the students to meet the

challenges in work and career after they have completed their studies.

Instructional Aids : videos related to jobs descriptions, hand-outs pertaining the activities on jobs

Previous Knowledge : Students have learnt about famous people and their achievements in life which

is related to jobs in Form 1

 Teacher asks students to fill
in the blanks with the correct
answers

guess the occupations that
suit the descriptions
 Teacher checks the answers
with the students
 Students talk about what they
would like to become when
they grow up.
 Students read the
descriptions and question the
teacher when they find
difficult vocabularies
 Students listen to the video
