Cell Phones
Cell phones should be turned off and put away throughout testing to avoid overloading a room’s wi-fi hubs and to avoid test security breaches.
Student Computers
Students can login to a district computer with their own username and password. Once logged in they should click on Pearson TestNav and be
prepared to enter the 10-digit username and password from their test ticket. Computers should be turned on prior to the test session so students
are not delayed in the login process.
Student Login
Distribute test tickets to students. Inform them to use the
Username and Password at the bottom of the ticket. As
students login, ensure that they have entered the correct
Sign In information by checking their name at the top right of
the TestNav Browser. When the test window opens it will
most likely not occupy the entire computer window. It will
enter a secure mode once students enter their username and
password.
Ticket Security
Collect student tickets as soon as possible after students have signed in for testing. Students are not allowed to keep their test ticket, write their
username or password on any of their own materials/scratch-paper, or capture an image of the ticket with a camera or other electronic device.
