 TRAININGS AND PROJECTS:
 WBSETCL Transmission Substation (Chanditala 132/33/11 KV S/Station) For 2 Weeks.
In this training, I got a practical view of the working process of a Transmission Substation. I saw the
network how it receives electricity from Power Generating Station, transmits the received power to
some connected Distribution Substations as per their requirement. I also had the opportunity to get
some valuable information based on Transformer, CT, PT, Circuit Breaker, Relay etc. and working
process with the help of some live examples.
 Eastern Railway (Howrah Electric Loco Shed) For 2 Weeks.
In this training, I learnt about the working principle of Electrical Locomotives, its power collecting
process from the Catenary Wire though Pantograph and the function of the each machines and
equipment are used in an Electrical Locomotive Engine.
 Eastern Railway (Liluah Work Shop) For 2 Weeks.
In this training, I learn about the Train Lighting System, Air Conditioning System, Mobile Generating
Substation (Power Car) of Mail and Express Trains in Indian and also got a lot of information on the
different type of Motors, Alternator, Machine Parts, Relays and their working process.
 PROJECT: Energy Savings Using Solar Panel.
The main objective of this project is saving electricity and shifting our attention towards non-
conventional energy sources. If we can generate electricity from solar energy and use it for our
household purpose for long time, it also can be cost efficient.

 EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
 Participated in College Cricket Tournament and secured the Winner’s Trophy.
 Participated in Inter School Quiz Competition and won several prizes.
