Move toward Holiness

1 Thessalonians 5:22-24

“reject every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May
your whole spirit, soul and body may be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one
who calls you is faithful and he will do it”

Only God can make us holy. It’s our responsibility however, to make choices that move us in that
direction.
He encouraged us to move in the direction of holiness, avoiding evil and God would be faithful to make
them holy.

Holiness is a process that begins and continues with God.
