Welcome and Introductions The meeting was called to order by Dr. Tiffany Alexander at 5:50 p.m. Members in attendance introduced themselves and signed in on the sign in sheet provided. Il. Curriculum A Pathway Courses B. Standards c. FBLA Success ‘* Dr. Alexander provided information on the NOHS pathway offerings, current ‘enrollment, and EOPA data. NOHS FBLA Officers gave an overview of the currentfuture FBLA activities. © Mr. Manning provided information on the OCHS pathway offerings, current enrollment, and EOPA data. OCHS FBLA Officers gave an overview of the currentfuture FBLA activities. ‘© Mrs. Dorsey provided information on the MBMS course offerings, curriculum changes, and FBLA activities, ‘© Mr. Randall Brown provided information on the OCMS course offerings, curriculum changes, and FBLA activities. ‘The UGA Computer Science representative, Dr. Thiab Taha, wants teachors to send curriculum information to him so that he can see what we offer aligns to what is offered at UGA in the area of Computer Science. IV, What is Needed from Committee Members FBLA Assistance ‘Sponsorship Guest Speakers Mock iteniews Contest Preparation Field Tips to Business and Industry Work Based Leaming Opportunities Advisory committee members were asked to complete and submit the checklist sheet. This sheet indicates the areas the advisory committee members would be willing to offer assistance to the students in the OCSS. ommooe> V. What is needed from teachers/students There was a lengthy discussion on what businesses are currently seeing young/new employees entering the workforce lack in the area of soft skillslemployabilty skills.
