Executive Summary
Program Objectives Its main objective is to:
 develop students’ comprehension and reading skills; and
 widen their knowledge through reading.
Key Results As part of the celebration:
 The students were asked to bring any reading materials
available at home to be used for display and for reading
purposes.
 Students in all grade level were given special time for a
synchronized reading activity and they were advised to
make a journal based on what they have read. After
enhancing their comprehension and writing skills through
making journal, they were also given another activity which
could measure how creative they are in making bookmarks.
During the making of bookmark activity, it was quite
suspicious that students were doing their best to come up
with such a best output. Both of these activities were done
on the 14th day of November, 2018.
 On the 15th day of November, the Maasin City Night High
School visited the Provincial Library at Abgao, Maasin City
headed by the School Principal, Emma N. Lopez, and School
English Coordinator, Joel G. Gida. The purpose of our visit is
to enhance students’ learning development and widen
knowledge through the basic concepts about library. We
stayed at the library for more than an hour reading and do
some research.
 The efforts of the students exerted on this activities will be
graded.
Resources Materials Books, Magazines, Novels, and others reading materials.
General Comments Through the efforts and help among the teachers and students’
cooperation the activity was precisely successful.
