CODE OF COMMUNICATION RESEARCHER

I shall endeavor
1. to contribute to the achievement of the development of communication and media channels as well
as human development and society
2. to conduct myself in accordance to the acceptable norms and moral standard in all circumstances as
to deserve and secure the confidence and trust of those with whom I come into contact
3. to bear in mind that truth shall be the primordial consideration in all aspects of my research / project
activity and will have impact on the way in which my output is appraised
4. to carry and protect the reputation of my college and my institution with all honor and dignity

I shall undertake
5. to observe in the course of accomplishing all requirements of the thesis writing / special project the
moral principles, equity, openness, fairness, respect and team play
6. to pay due regard to and to recognize the rights of my group members as well as my respondents,
subject/s and resource persons
7. to act honestly by faithfully indicating my sources, avoid any act that may be construed as plagiarism,
libel, intrusion to one's privacy and that fabricating of any false information for my convenience is never
an excuse

I shall refrain from

8. subordinating the truth to other requirements
9. taking part in any venture or undertaking which is unethical or dishonest or capable of impairing
human dignity and integrity
10. using any "manipulative methods or techniques designed to create subconscious motivations which
the individual cannot control of his/her own free will and so cannot be held accountable for the action
taken on them for the purpose of achieving my own desired end

I shall aspire
11. to come up with a quality and excellent output - well-deigned, well-thought of, well-written,
well-assembled, well-crafted and well-presented.
I shall be guided by the saying "I do ordinary things extraordinarily well and right."
12. to use this research / special project as an opportunity to apply learnings in my
previous subjects
13. to motivate others and be motivated as well to do exceedingly well and to do the
best of my ability.

The Lord is my master who shall open up my mind, guide my hands and protect me in all my actions and
decisions.
