Step 1
Visit the Apple App Store to download
BizWriter (for iPod touch/iPhone) or
BizWriter HD (for iPad/iPad mini). Follow the
onscreen instructions to install the App.
Step 2
The BizWriter (for iPod touch/iPhone) or
BizWriter HD (for iPad/iPad mini) icon will
be shown once installation is complete.
Step 3
Connect the receiver to your device using the
provided 30-pin cable and the Lightning to
30-pin Adapter (not included in this package,
may be purchased from Apple).

Step 4
After the inital installation, the “App Not Installed”
window will pop up. Click ignore. Close the app.
Re-open the app and it should connect properly.
Step 5
Select “Upload pictures”, notes can then
be transferred from the receiver to the
Photo Library of iPod touch/iPhone/iPad.
Note: You may need to reinstall BizWriter
(for iPod touch/iPhone) or BizWriter HD
(for iPad/iPad mini) after upgrading the iOS.

A message will automatically appear The handwritten note will appear.
stating that your ‘Pictures were uploaded
to the photo album!’’. Tap OK.

Step 7
Tap ‘Edit’ on the bottom, lower left hand
side of the screen. Then tap ‘Open a Picture’.

Step 10
If necessary, tap ‘Clear my Digital Pen’ to
delete the stored notes in the receiver.

Step 8
The Photo Album box will appear.
Tap ‘Camera Roll’.

Visit the Apple App Store to download BizWriter Open the BizWriter or Biz Writer HD app.

The home screen will appear after
opening the app.

Turn on the receiver and clip it to your paper.
Write some notes and make sure that the pen icon
appears on the receiver while you are writing.
Press the button on the receiver to save the note.

Step 6
Tap ‘Digital Pen’ on the bottom, lower right hand
side of the screen. Then tap ‘Upload Pictures’.

Step 3
Simply connect the receiver with your iPod
touch, iPhone or iPad using the 30-pin USB cable.

Download the software designated for Step 5

(double click on the downloaded file to unzip).

Step 3
Open the unzipped file.
Step 6
Click ‘Close’.

After completing the installation, go to your
applications and open ‘NoteTakerPreferences’.
Step 8
When the ‘NoteTakerPreferences’ box appears,
click on the square (...) button to the right.

Create a new folder on your desktop where
your notes will be saved (target folder).
Step 10
Choose the new folder you created as
the target folder and click ‘Open’.
Step 11
Check the ‘Clear device’s memory’ box if you
want the receiver to clear it’s memory afterwards.
Step 12
Click ‘Save’.
Step 13
Click ‘Exit’. Now restart your computer.

Turn on the receiver and clip it to your paper. Write Open the target folder you created on
some notes and make sure that the pen icon your desktop in step 9.

folder as a .TIFF image. Double click on the file to
open it.
