Purpose : 1. Pupils can solve two-step problem: Addition and Subtraction

2. Pupils can solve mathematical story two-step problems

1. Introduction:
 Teacher greet the pupils
 Teacher introduces himself to pupils
 Teacher explains the lesson that is going to be studied
2. Whilst-Teaching:
 Teacher asks pupils to tell three different two-digit numbers. Add the two
larger number. Then, subtract the smallest number from the value found
earlier.
For example, if the numbers are 32, 98 and 56:
98 + 56 = 154
154 – 32 = 122
Repeat the exercise using different numbers.
 Teacher draw pupils attention to page 1 of workbook. Read the story
given in the problem.
 Teacher gives a sample solution for working on practice questions in the
workbook
