Graduation Ceremony

PROGRAMME

One DepEd toward Quality Education.

Congratulations to all the 2019 completers and graduates!

This year’s ceremonies are anchored on the theme “Pagkakaisa sa

Pagkakaiba-iba: Kalidad na Edukasyon para sa Lahat.”

Faithful to our mandate, we in Deped X have always been striving toward

this challenge of unity amidst diversity particularly in the delivery of
inclusive education as evidenced by the continuous collective efforts of our
DepEd officials, school administrators and staff, teachers, families,
communities, and stakeholders. Proof of these noble efforts is the
accomplishments of this year’s batch of completers and graduates.

But with these accomplishments come bigger challenges―the challenge

for our learners to apply their acquired competencies and hurdle the next
levels of their academic preparation and even career path, and it is our duty
and challenge as well to take them to where they want to be.

While the road to quality education has never been easy, it is nevertheless
not impossible especially if we work as “One Team, One Dream, One
Direction” just like what we always say “One Department of Education.”

All together, let us march toward success―onward to quality education for

all.

Once again, congratulations to all of us!

Message

My warmest greetings and congratulations to the foremost champions of

this momentous occasion—the completers and graduates of School Year
2018-2019!

Graduation and moving-up ceremonies are indeed a joyous celebration,

and not only because it culminates another year of learning and discovery,
perseverance, and passionate work among our learners. It also caps off
another year of successful collaboration among parents, teachers,
education officials and personnel, community members, partners, and
stakeholders of diverse roots, cultures, and traditions.

This year’s theme, “Unity in Diversity: Quality Education for All,” speaks
of our commitment and loyalty to our culture—diverse as it is—that reflects
our soul and unites our people. Time and again, we have proven that
regardless of our descent, status, ethnicity, and religious and political
beliefs, we can unite towards the realization of a common goal—the
delivery of quality, accessible, relevant, and liberating basic education for
the Filipino learners.

While the Department of Education (DepEd) has carried on and embraced

change amid technological advancements and the continuously shifting
socioeconomic landscape, it commits itself to the holistic development of
21st century learners who are not only critical and innovative thinkers in the
fields of science, mathematics, and robotics, but who are also artistic and
creative, and can thrive in the fields that appeal to our soul and our sense
of identity.

Rest assured that through the K to 12 Basic Education Program, DepEd

shall strive to hone our future leaders and nation-builders in a society that
embraces diversity and all its challenges and advantages. I am positive that
whatever path they wish to pursue hereafter, our graduates and completers
will continuously enrich what makes up the Filipino soul—our culture,
talent, history, and capacity to survive.

Again, congratulations and mabuhay!

make you better members of our society.
To the school officials, I commend your unending dedication to your work and in

this country.
To the faculty members, I also express my felicitations to your continuing
guidance of your students. Their future, and collectively the future of our country,

To the parents of the graduating students, I laud you for the sacrifices that you
made for your children to reach this stage. This Graduation Exercises is a
testament to your hard work as parents.

Mabuhay!

Kudos to the 4th Moving Up for Grade 10 learners and 2nd

Graduation Ceremony for Grade 12 learners, to the proud parents, to the
faculty and staff of Diego H. Patigayon National High School.

Theme for any occasion is not just a requirement to be complied, but

it is a word of wisdom to be treasured as part of memories to be cherished
on this momentous occasion. Like this year’s theme, “Unity in Diversity:
Education for All”, you can make kit as your guiding line and inspiration as
you go out into the world and move on. Feel its essence and live with it. Let
the theme challenge you that regardless of the diversity of our descent,
status, ethnicity and religious and political beliefs, we can still unite towards
the realization of a common goal - the delivery of one of those responsible
people who are committed to the ideals of improving the quality of life on
earth. You can make this world a better place. Become one of those what
the world needs today, people of diverse customs and traditions but truly
