ACTIVITIES
: 1. Pupils talk about their holiday and the “weather” last week at their holiday spot.
PRE-LESSON
2. In group, pupils write as many words related to the weather.
: 3. Pupils listen to the audio #1.36 and repeat the different kinds of weather.
4. Pupils look at the pictures from Ex.2 on p.30 and write about the weather in the
different cities using the vocabulary from exercise 1.
5. Pupils compare the answers as a whole class.
6. Pupils compare the weather with Malaysia.
7. In small groups, pupils fill in a diagram by answering the following questions:

8. Pupils find the answer by reading the texts given and using their own knowledge

10. Pupils return to their group member and compare the weather and season in Malaysia.
11. Every group rep. take turn to share their answers with the whole class.
POST-LESSON : 12. In pairs, pupils discuss the activities that could be done in different weather.

: 1. Pupils play a game to review adjectives. Pupils find their group members from the
piece of papers given by teacher to everyone. (Pupils have learned about adjectives,

taller-taller-tallest  which make up a group of 3.
: 2. Ex. A In groups, pupils ask each other to keep the interaction going (avoiding one

LESSON DEVELOPMENT 3. Ex. B In groups, pupils read the instruction and choose the correct adjectives.
4. Pupils then come out with own sentences to describe the food using the unselected
adjectives in Ex. B.
: 5. Pupils write out the alphabet (e.g. in their journal). Next to each letter pupils must
POST-LESSON write an adjective that starts with that letter. Pupils may work with a partner or in
small groups. When ready, share words with the whole class.

relates to one’ life;

 revise on the poems and the values learnt from them.
SUCCESS CRITERIA Pupils will be successful if they can:
 rearrange the poems by stanza or lines with meaning.
 Recite the poem and explain to the class.
ACTIVITIES
1. PRE - Pupils form 4 groups.
2. DEV – Every group receives an envelope contains pieces of papers.
3. Pupils rearrange the papers into a complete poem and match it with the meaning.
4. Pupils recite the poem and present them to the class.
5. POST – Pupils paste the complete poem and its meaning on the softboard behind the class.
