Suggested Method:

1. Copy one handout for each individual student.

2. Distribute the handouts to each learner. Focus their attention on the


instructions and the pictures. Learners look at the pictures and words and try to
match them to the appropriate definitions.

3. For In part B, instruct learners to write their own definitions for the remaining
undefined words. Tell them to use the other definitions for help.

4. For feedback, gather the students in a circle and get them to tell you what the
answers are. For part B, have learners swap papers and read each other's
definitions. Ask the learners what they think of their partner's definitions. Ask for
contributions from some of the learners and write the most accurate on the
board.
