Creating a Request
You can create a Workfront request within Outlook in the following ways:
• Creating a Request
• Converting an Email

Creating a Request
You can create a request from the Outlook Add-In, regardless of whether you are in the Workfront section or not.
1. Click 'New Request' in the ribbon.

All custom forms that have been added to the request are available to use.

Converting an Email
You can convert an email to a request and assign it to a specific queue and person.
1. Select the email that you want to convert into a request.

2. Do one of the following:

◦ Expand 'Workfront' in the left nav, then drag the email into the Requests folder.

◦ Right-click the email, then click 'Workfront' > 'Create Request From E-mail.'

◦ Click 'Workfront' in the ribbon, then click 'Create Request From Selected E-mail.'

The email subject becomes the request name, the body is the description, and if there are attached
documents, they are linked to the request.
