Evidencia 5: Ejercicio práctico “Advertising and web page”

Para las empresas que tengan la idea de iniciar exportaciones, es importante


tener en cuenta los clientes de habla inglesa, por lo que se hace necesario
manejar una excelente estructura gramatical y lingüística al momento de
establecer un medio visual que permita promocionar exitosamente sus
productos o servicios.

Por lo anterior, desarrolle esta evidencia teniendo en cuenta la lectura y el


análisis del material de formación denominado Presenting the product, y
posteriormente desarrolle los siguientes puntos:

1. Haga un breve análisis sobre la imagen publicitaria que se observa a


continuación, y en base a ella describa en inglés: el producto, la población a
la cual va dirigido y la presentación de este, utilizando adjetivos positivos,
comparativos y superlativos.
SOLUTION

LPQ is a Brand of fast products typically consisting of vegetables, sliced


cheese or meat, placed on or between slices of bread, or more generally any dish
wherein two or more pieces of bread serve as a container or wrapper for another
food type, is aimed at customers from stratum 1 to stratum 5 who
like to eat healthy.

The product is really desirable among the Colombian people in general


because its American style of preparation, it’s really attractive to the eyes
and also proves its quality.

Their prices can change it depends, it can cost you from 1 dollar (3.500
PESOS) to 5 dollars (18.000 PESOS), Weights to combos and special
preparations can reach up to 7 dollars (21.000 PESOS) , they are also
based on the good combination of natural and healthy drinks thus
achieving that our consumers fall in love and promote the brand lpq
worldwide.

McDonald's menu includes hamburgers and cheeseburgers, Big Mac, Quarter

McNuggets, wraps, French fries, salads, oatmeal, shakes, McFlurry desserts,
sundaes, soft serve cones, pies, soft drinks, coffee, McCafe beverages and

during limited-time promotions. McDonald's restaurants in the United States and
many international markets offer a full or limited breakfast menu. Breakfast
offerings may include Egg McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin with Egg, McGriddles,
biscuit and bagel sandwiches, and hotcakes.
Price: _ McDonalds sells many types of foods including hamburgers,
French fries, chicken, cheeseburgers, soft drinks, and salads. They also
have a value menu which sells products for only $1 apiece. Can cost
from 1 dollar (3.000 pesos) up to 6 dollars (18.000 pesos)

Target market: The main target customer for McDonald's includes


parents with young children, young children, business customers, and
teenagers. Perhaps the most obvious marketing for McDonald's is its'
marketing towards children and the parents of young children. Parents like
to visit McDonald's because it is a treat for the kids, and the kids enjoy the
cartoon like atmosphere. McDonald's also targets business customers as
a part of their core business. Business customers may stop during the
workday and can count on fast service, and consistently good food.
Another major target of McDonald's marketing is to teens.

Product features: McDonald’s restaurants offer a substantially


uniform menu, although there are geographic variations to suit local
consumer preferences and tastes. Plus, McDonald’s tests new products
on an ongoing basis.

McDonald’s menu includes hamburgers and cheeseburgers, the Big Mac,


Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and Filet-O-Fish, several chicken
sandwiches, Chicken Nuggets, Snack Wraps, French fries, salads,
oatmeal, shakes, McFlurry desserts, sundaes, soft-serve cones, pies, soft
drinks, coffee, McCafé beverages, and other beverages. Also, the
restaurants sell a variety of other products during limited-time promotions.
The company offers the McRib sandwich on a seasonal basis, which adds
to the company’s appeal.

ADIDAS:

Adidas has its roots in Germany but they are a truly global company.
Around the world they employ nearly 57,000 people. Employees from
about 100 nations are working at the global HQ in Herzogenaurach,
Germany – the ‘World of Sports’. Every year they produce over 900 million
sports and sports lifestyle products with independent manufacturing
partners worldwide. In 2017 they generated sales of € 21.218 billion.
These numbers alone can easily suggest that adidas is quite a large and
also multifaceted organization. True. But they keep things simple, lean and
fast. And they also will use this approach now to give an overview of what
the company is all about.

Price: their prices are around 20 dollars (60.000 pesos) to 100 dollars
or more (300.000 pesos)

Target market: According to Adidas Group, Adidas is primarily


targeting sports participants, including those at the highest level of
their sport, as well as non-athletes who are inspired by or really love
sports. Adidas has a long history of providing athletic footwear and
apparel for athletes at all levels of sport.

Product features: Adidas sells a range of clothing items, varying from


men's and women's t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, pants and leggings.
The first Adidas item of apparel was the Franz Beckenbauer tracksuit
created in 1967.Adidas AG is the largest manufacturer of sports bras in
Europe, and the second largest manufacturer in the world.
3. Elabore una sección en inglés de la página web corporativa, realizada en la
Evidencia 4: Página web corporativa de la actual guía de aprendizaje,
traduzca las secciones más relevantes de la página, de manera que pueda ser
