Causes of acne
Although the world has improved a lot in the field of research and development but the
accurate causes of acne are still unknown. Through the efforts of different researchers, some
major factors causing acne are now known. Acne is a common skin disease. Basically partial
metabolization of oil creates stickiness in the dead skin cells which subsequently block the
pores of the skin. And then bacteria enter into these pores and cause infection in the skin which
results in acne problems. Bacteria are not the only factor contributing to acne but defective
metabolization of oil is basically the major cause of acne. Research proved that the major
causes of acne are the internal disorders. Below mentioned factors are the major causes of
acne.
Nutritional Habits
Historical evidences showed that the causes of acne have there origin in inappropriate dietary
habits but the current science hardly agrees with it. As it is the fact that whatever we intake
either food or liquid, it does affect our body. That is why doctors keep on saying to have plenty
of water, fresh fruits and nutritional diet for better skins.
This tells us that proper nutritional diet is very important. And if somebody is having problem in
meeting those nutritional requirements of our body then it is obviously going to affect the skin
as well. Acne is no exclusion. It is going to occur when appropriate condition is provided by
specific dietary habits. And among different individuals the dietary items may differ which
cause and promote acne. So it is the duty of skin specialist to find out those items.
Inflated Sebum production
One of the major causes of acne is the hormonal disorder in the body. And majorly disorder of a
hormone named testosterone causes enlargement of the sebaceous glands, which
subsequently increases the production of sebum. And this substance named sebum acts as
nutrient for acne causing bacteria. This should be stopped at early stages to avoid major acne
problems.

Besides the above factors there might be many other factors which may contribute to acne
problems. But the major causes of acne are mentioned above. And one can easily avoid having
pimples and other acne problems by caring for all above mentioned factors. Causes of acne
should be identified by the skin specialist but you need to have a strict check to avoid serious
problems.
