Rule Book

1. Musical Instrumental
 This is a Solo Event. Each participant can perform using single instrument.
 Student can perform on any one of the instruments: Keyboard, Congo, Bongo, Mouth
organ, Drums, Tabla, Harmonium, Violin, Guitar, Flute, etc.
 The participants will get their own instruments. No storage will be provided in the
Campus
 Time allotted: Five minutes for performance and three minutes for set up.
 Registrations must be done atleast one day before the event.
 If any arrangement requires, participants should inform the institute well in advance or
atleast three days before the event.
 Judge’s / Organizing Committee's decision will be last & final.

2.Solo and Duet Singing


 Competition will be held in two different categories i.e. Male and Female.
 Each participant can participate either in solo or in duet or both.
 Participants are required to perform solo or duet on Indian songs.
 Karaoke and lyrics are not allowed.
 Maximum 5 minutes will be given to perform. However, Jugdes can stop any participant
after 1 minute of the performance if they feel so.
 Maximum two teams will be allowed from each participating institute in each category
(solo/duet).
 Judge’s / Organizing Committee's decision will be last & final.

3. Cooking Contest
 This is solo event.
 The food should only be vegetarian.
 Participants are required to bring requisite ingredients and utensils.
 Recipe should be submitted to judges on the day of competition (in written).
 Recipe includes the method of preparation of dishes.
 Only flameless cooking will be allowed.
 Max. Time limit will be 30 minutes.
 Judge’s / Organizing Committee's decision will be last & final.

4. Solo / Group Dance Competition


 Competition will be held in two different category i.e. Solo (Male and Female) and
Group (Mixed).
 Participants can participate in Solo / Group dance competition or both.
 For group dance, maximum 10 participants can participate.
 Time duration: Solo performance maximum five minutes, and for group performance
maximum seven minutes.
 Maximum two teams will be allowed from each participating institute in each category
(solo/group).
 Registrations must be done atleast three days in advance.
 Songs must be brought in CDs as well as in pen drive, both are compulsory. No other
medium like cassette, mobile, etc. will be allowed.
 Group and solo participant should come in proper attire as per the theme of their dance.
 The costumes and props should be arranged by the participants themselves.
 Judges can eliminate group and solo performances within first 2 minutes, if they feel that
the performance is not up to the mark.
 The solo/group dances will be evaluated on the basis of following criteria: theme, attire,
props, dance form (s), selection of song / music, body language and facial expressions.
 Judge’s / Organizing Committee's decision will be last & final.

5. Business Plan Competition


 A team of two members can participate in this event.
 Participates are required to prepare and showcase their business / management models
(Physical or ppt based models) for this event.
 Participates must also present a one page write-up on the concept / utility of the presented
model.
 Registrations must be done at least one day in advance.

6. Dalal Street
 A team of two members can participate in this event.
 Online Mock Trading Platform will be provided to the participants.
 Trading will be allowed only in equity spot market.
 The team who will have highest net worth will be the winner.
 Registered students will report before 9:15 am with their laptop for setup.
 Team should bring their Laptop Computer for the game.
 Judge’s decision will be final.

7. Roadies
 Maximum Four members will be allowed in a team.
 All the members of the team should be from the same Institute /College.
 The competition will involve adventure games.
 Registrations must be done atleast three days before the event.
 Rules of the CHUNAUTI (Adventure Games) are subject to change without prior notice.
 Judge’s / Organizing Committee's decision will be last & final.
8. Snakes and Ladders
 A team shall consist of maximum three members.
 The quiz covers questions from various aspects of International Business and International
Business Environment.
 Use of Mobile Phone or any other electronic device will be Strictly Prohibited.
 Replacement of any participants of a team will not be allowed after registration.
 Judge’s / Organizing Committee's decision will be last & final.

9. Ad Mad Show
 Maximum five members will be allowed in a team to participate.
 The product or services to be advertised will be given on the spot.
 Props will be provided on the spot.
 Registrations must be at least two days in advance.
 Maximum seven minutes will be given to each team for Performance.
 Rules of the Ad Mad Show are subject to change without notice.
 Judge’s / Organizing Committee's decision will be last & final.

10. ROCK BAND Competition


 Maximum 10 members are allowed in a team from same Institute.
 Out of 10 members, maximum 4 Members will be allowed from other institutions
affiliated to any University to play instrument (not vocal).
 The participants should get their own instruments. No storage will be provided in the
premises.
 Time allotted: 15 minutes plus 10 minutes for set up.
 Only one team is allowed from each participating institute.
 Judge’s / Organizing Committee's decision will be last & final.

Registration Fee and General Rules:


 Participation fee will be Rs. 150 per individual event; Rs. 300 per team per event and Rs.
500 per team event (Band, Group Dance) payable by cash/DD/ cheque in favour of
payable at Indore.
 Team/Individuals can participate in one or more events if there is no clash of timings.
 Each participating institute can send max two teams/participants to participate for events
other than Band and Group Dance.
 The participants must carry their institute’s identity card and receipt of participation for
their identification. Entry is strictly on the basis of identity cards only.
 The Participants are requested to report at the reception counter one hour prior to the each
event.
 Winners and Runner up prize will be awarded on the same day after the end of the
respective event.
 The participant certificate of each event will be awarded on the same day after the end of
the respective event.
 Registration forms must be attested/forwarded by the respective Institute’s
Authority/Principal/Dean/Director/Registrar.
 In case the students don’t have permanent IDs, they must bring a letter for the same from
the college authorities in original.

 Designing of roles and responsibilities for various committee of various events
 Launching of the Event Dangler on the very first day in Inaugural.
 Coordinating Inaugural Function

2. Registration and Reception Committee


 Entries for different events: In house and Outside Participation.
 Registration Link
 Receiving and coordinating with participants and guests for the events.
 Managing pick and drop of guests and judges of various events.
 Coordinating with Hospitality Committee for Refreshments for guests during the event.

3. Internal Arrangement Committee


 Making all the arrangements required for smooth conduction of all events.
 Tent, Light, Sound and Stage Arrangement
 Technical Arrangements like Laptop.
 Guests Folders, Name Plates; Folders – Pen, Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Evaluation Sheets,
Blank Paper
 Bouquet for guests and judges
 Coordinating with Creative Committee for decoration of Stage and various venues for the
event.
 Coordinating with gift and memento committee for distribution of gifts and mementoes and
vouchers etc. to various events.
 Ramp Arrangement for Fashion Show
 Generator Backup

4. Invitation Committee and Promotion Committee


 Distributing Invitation Cards to guests and sponsors.
 Promotion of various events.

5. Discipline Committee
 Checking of Passes/ID while entry.
 Security of Celebrity (if) and guests /Judges
 Controlling student movements during the events
 Looking after the Discipline of the Institute during the events including Cultural Night

6. Cultural Committee
 Organising Cultural Events: Singing Competition, Dance Competition, Fashion Show etc.
 Arrangements of choreographers for dance and fashion show.
 Preparation of dances and fashion show as per the theme decided
 Sponsorship for Salons, Accessories, Clothing, Crown, gifts/ mementos etc.

7. Creative Committee
 Finalization of taglines and poster design for various events
 Designing and Printing of Invitation cards
 Preparation and Decorations for 3 days events and cultural night
 Passes Designing
 Designing and Printing of Registration Form, Covering Letter, and envelope for the event.
 Preparing the props for cultural committee (if required)
 Creating Selfie corners

8. Hospitality Committee
 Arrangement of Tea, Snacks and Food for Faculty, Staff, Volunteers, Participants, Judges &
Press .
 Printing and Distribution of Food Coupons.
 Coordinating with various event coordinators for refreshments during the event.

9. Sponsorship Committee
 Arranging Main Sponsors, Co-Sponsors,
 Looking for every possible sponsor
 Maintain the A/c of sponsorship
 Promotion of Sponsors during the events

10. Press and Publicity Committee


 News Coverage before , during the event and after the event
