If you plan on applying to a different school within NYU then you will have to contact their
Office of Admissions regarding their application requirements. At NYU-SPS our TOEFL
requirements are as follows: A language assessment waiver may be requested if: * You
have earned your entire undergraduate or graduate degree in the United States or in a
program where the medium of instruction was English. If you attended an institution outside
of the U.S., please provide documentation from your institution to confirm the language of
instruction as English if it is not specified on your transcript. * You completed 3 years of
undergraduate studies at an institution where English is the medium of instruction and 1
year at an international institution. * You completed a Master's degree in the U.S.

The medium of instruction refers to the language that courses are taught in. If your entire
program was taught in English then you will be eligible for a TOEFL waiver.

International applicants) to apply to any of our programs. There is a section on our online
application to fill out GRE/GMAT scores for applicants who would like to send us their
scores because they believe it will strengthen their application. However, we do not expect
students to complete and report the scores for these exams. If scores are not reported, it
will not be held negatively against your application. Please use your best judgment to
decide whether or not you would like to include this additional material to your application.
