Main Tasks

Proposing innova ve design solu ons which pushes the future development of the Volvo & Polestar

Brands
Create compelling and appropriate design proposals for concept and produc on car programs in the
form of sketches, renderings and 3D digital models
Collabora ng cross func onally with all team disciplines   
Support program  ming by delivering appropriate design proposals with speed and efficiency

Main Responsibilities

Benchmark compe ve vehicles to aid design direc on
Work closely together with studio engineering on design solu ons that can be brought to
produc on
Support Digital modelers with clear visual and verbal direc on in the crea on of digital models,
physical models and CG renderings
Work on a broad range of advanced design and produc on programs
Presen ng and communica ng design proposals using mul ple medias

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in transporta on / automo ve design, industrial design or related fields

Express a high level of crea vity through sketching, digital sketching, and final digital rendering
Skilled in Alias Automo ve Studio, VRed, Photoshop and other visual medias
Entry level to five years’ experience in the field of automo ve design
Fluent English communica on skills
Candidates applying for posi ons must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Main Tasks

U lize ALIAS AutoStudio/Surface to create Class‐A (Single Span) 3D models from 2D drawings and
input from Designers
U lize ALIAS AutoStudio/Surface to create interior/exterior vehicle Models for fabrica on with
Rapid Prototype machines, and CNC milling machine
U lize ALIAS AutoStudio/Surface to create interior/exterior vehicle Models based on scan data
through reverse engineering for visual review and based on designers' illustra ons/verbal direc on
for visual review

Main Responsibilities

Work on a broad range of advanced design and produc on programs
Collabora ng cross func onally with all team disciplines   
Meet design specifica ons from Engineering and deadlines established by Design Managers
Create VRed renderings and anima ons for presenta ons and reviews
Work closely together with studio engineering on design solu ons that can be brought to
produc on

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in transporta on / automo ve design, industrial design or related fields

Express a high level of crea vity through digital modelling, and final digital rendering via VRED or
Maya
Digital Anima on skills are desired
Skilled in Alias AutoStudio, VRed, Photoshop and other visual medias
1‐5 years’ experience in Computer Surface and 3D Modeling for an Automo ve OEM
Fluent English communica on skills
Candidates applying for posi ons MUST BE LEGALLY AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED
