What is the ForumIAS Focused Foundation Program?

The ForumIAS Focused Foundation Program is a classroom program to prepare a candidate for the
Prelims & Mains Examination. The subjects will be covered from the basics covering both the Prelims
& Mains Syllabus.

What does it include?

The Foundation Program includes over 200+ classroom sessions covering the General Studies – All 4
Papers and the Preliminary Examination Syllabus.
The Foundation Program also includes Essay Classes & Tests, the Mains Guidance Program (a Mentor
based Test Series for Mains) the Prelims Test Series by ForumIAS. Additional Sessions for Current
Affairs before the Prelims & Mains Examination will also be conducted

What is the problem we are trying to solve?

A common trend in the Civil Services Examination coaching is that candidates join conventional
coaching classes for about a year where there is focus on only taking classes and notes. There is little or
no focus on (a) answer writing – for which candidates are awarded marks in the Mains Examination and
(b) problem solving – which is crucial for clearing the Prelims Examination. Conventional coaching
often suffers from this lacuna.
On the other extreme is pursuing self-study plans by merely doing a test series. While a numerical
minority ( who have the benefit of early start, prior guidance, parental and sibling support who are
already in service ) are able to benefit from this arrangement, a vast majority of candidate end up with a
fragmented preparation – where they know things that they are asked in the Test Series but do not build
complete concepts with respect to the topic. A right mix of classes supplemented with answer writing
and objective tests is what the ForumIAS Focused Foundation Program Offers.

Terms and Conditions:

• Admission to the program is subject to availability of seats and will be on first come first
serve basis. The discretion to provide admission rests solely with the management.
• Allotment of batch is the discretion of the institute. Preference of batch may be offered to
the students during admission, subject to availability.
• A student hereby submits himself/herself for admission accepting the above terms and
conditions.
• Program Cancellation & Refund: Candidates can request a fee refund within 15 days of
course commencement. It will be subjected to applicable deductions. Request for refund
will not be entertained after the lapse of 15 days.
