ABSTRACT
In this paper we design an assistive aid for visually impaired persons which
is mainly used for their navigation purpose using raspberry pi. This device is
integrated with ultrasonic, fire and water sensors. This uses the RF module for
finding the stick when they misplace it. For destination tracking purpose it uses the
GPS module and an input device to get destination name as an input. Also a wheel
is used to change the direction of the blind if any sensor has been detected. Through
the audio jack the blind gets all the processed output from the raspberry pi like the
destination directions, distance and the sensor information. Thus this system gives
the sense of vision for the visually impaired person.
