OBJECTIVE:
The student will practice the simple past tense with regular and
irregular verbs to talk about heroic acts and events that happened
at a specific time in the past. They will practice the irregular verbs
in past by playing a game. They will also use the dictionary to
clarify vocabulary doubts and they’ll express their opinions by
writing a short description of the events in a video.
Getting Ready
Every day, firefighters risk their lives to save others. When there
are fires, explosions, and disasters, most people will flee and run
away from the flame. Firefighters, however, run towards them.
