Software Upgrade Process
 Download the Software file, Tool & Drivers from http://devicesupport.ril.com

 The Download Software package will be in Zip format, kindly Unzip the same.

 Post Unzip you will get –

Software file (LYF-LF2403-000-01-23-250617)

Software Tool (Qflash Tool Release 5.0.2)
Driver File (QUD.WIN.1.1 Installer-10040.5)

 Driver Installation:

Open QUD.WIN.1.1 Installer-10040.5 Folder & double click on Setup.exe to start the Driver Installation.

 Click on Next to Proceed Further.  Select “I accept the Terms in the License Agreement.”
 Click on Next to Proceed further.

 Click on Install to proceed with Installation.

 During Installation, the above Pop-Up will come.

 Enable “Always trust Software from Qualcomm Incorporated”  Click on Finish to complete the Driver Installation.

 If the Driver is Installed Successfully, the Jio

Phone (LF-2403) will get detected as
“Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 9091
(Com XX) Under Ports in Device Manager.

Note: Phone to be Connected in Power ON

Condition to check whether Driver is Installed
correctly.

Software Tool Installation:

 Open the Folder “Qflash Tool Release 5.0.2” & double click on Setup.exe to start the Software Tool installation.
 Click on Next & proceed further.
 Select “Everyone” & click on Next to proceed.

 Click on Next to proceed with installation process.

 Click on Close to complete the installation process.

 On Successful installation of Tool, Qflash Tool Icon will be created in the Desktop.

 Connect LF-2403 to the system.

 Click on Load Content & select the Software folder “LYF-LF2403-000-01-23-250617”
 Select contents.xml file from the Software folder.

 After the Content.xml file is selected, the phone will get detected as “Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 9091 (Com XX) in the tool.
 Click on Download Content to start the Software upgrade process.

 During the Software upgrade process, you can see the upgrade progress in the progress bar.
 Also you can see the % File transferred, which increases with time.
Note – Once the software upgrade process starts, the Download Content Tab will not be highlighted.

 On Successful completion of Software, “done” message will be displayed in the tool & also the Download Tab will be highlighted.
 Please note after successful Software upgrade, the device is in Download Mode (QDLoader Mode).
 Hence you need to remove the Battery & refix the battery again to switch on the Phone.
