On the campaign trail

Chestermere-Strathmore constituency candidates gathered at Crowther Memorial Junior High School where students and staff hosted a Candidate Fo-
rum on April 4. Each candidate started off with a brief introduction after which they answered a wide variety of questions posed by Crowther students.
Leela Sharon Aheer (l-r) (United Conservative Party), Jason Avramenko (Alberta Party), Derek Fildebrandt (Freedom Conservative Party), Melissa Lang-
maid (New Democratic Party) and Terry Nicholls (Independent) took part in the forum, while Roger Dean Walker (Alberta Independence Party) and Sharon
L. Howe (Liberal) were not available to attend. Albertans will hit the polls on Tuesday, April 16. Doug Taylor Photo

We're faced with a stark choice: continuation of an NDP government with its
disastrous policies, or the renewal of a 40-year long PC dynasty. We all want to
end the NDP, and it has no chance of forming government again. An
unchecked dynasty government will leave rural needs and conservative values
farther and farther behind. We need a strong conservative opposition to
correct this - and to tell the government that they can't take our votes for
granted.

Don't let the government take you for granted. Vote FCP.
