Welcome to the PGCPS Educational Online Program (EOP). Thank you for committing additional time towards your
education this semester. As you may already know, Blended Learning programs provide amazing flexibility in
allowing students to continue their education by accessing coursework conducive to their individual schedules. It is
important to note, however, that these courses follow an accelerated schedule, weekly assignment deadlines,
regular participation, and are as rigorous as an actual high school classroom. It is imperative to remain self-
motivated, disciplined, and consistent within your registered course to ensure that your assignments and
requirements are completed on time.
The following documents require full completion and two signatures, agreeing that you and your parent/guardian
understand the expectations of the Educational Online Program.
▪ Registration Form
▪ Authorization Form from one/all of the following:
o Professional School Counselor
o SPED/ESOL Case Manager *
▪ Academic Integrity Contract
Once your packet is completed and signed by both you and your parent/guardian, please provide a money order in
the amount of $150.00 payable to [your school name] to the site-based Educational Online Program Coordinator
of your school. Please bring in your completed registration form and fee to the EOP School Coordinator.
Best of luck to you with your respective course and we look forward to working with you this semester!

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY CONTRACT
The PGCPS Educational Online Program is committed to an atmosphere of academic integrity. Each site aims to
foster a reputable climate in order to ensure all data collected is legitimate and reliable. Plagiarism is the
dishonorable representation of someone else’s work and thoughts as one’s own, whether intentional or
unintentional.
● Copying any work in whole or part, including copying from another student, without giving
appropriate credit. The number of words copied is irrelevant.
● Paraphrasing someone else’s work or copying the idea, even if some of the words are changed,
without giving credit.
● Using quoted material without quotation marks and/or without citing the source.
● Keeping the original sentence structure but changing one or two words.
While it is remotely possible that plagiarism could go undetected by the teacher, it will be a blemish of the student’s
character. When one compromises his/her integrity in this way, it is always difficult to regain such loss of character.
Most education institutions including PGCPS adhere to a zero-tolerance policy against this dishonorable behavior.
If plagiarism is detected, site/regional coordinators will permanently withdraw a student from their current
Educational Online Program.
We are committed to teaching students what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. However, it must be understood by
each student that the ultimate responsibility for not plagiarizing rests solely on the student writer. A student’s
best rule of thumb: If in doubt, ask. If you cannot ask, give the material a full citation.
By signing below, you and your parent/guardian agree to the terms and conditions of the PGCPS
Educational Online Program and fully understand that plagiarism of any kind will result in a
permanent withdrawal from the program.
