RFID0950 Elevator ID Card Manual

RF0950 control system is designed for elevators up to 32floors(with expansion

board), and accessing to each floor is control by ID Card or password; each

floor command output control can be set with 100 cards, and with authorized

control which can assign a password or control card to control any floor;

for example, Facility Management Office can control 1-32floors, and residents

on 5floor will only be authorized to access to 1 floor and 5 floor, all

this be done through password or ID Card.

1. System components:

RFID0950 system includes: non-contacting ID card, ID card main control

board, CA12 password keyboard card reader.

Non-contacting ID card: adopts WG card, storing the appointed arrival floor

signal inside the ID card, then the system will operate by ID card reader;

the card reader will do close distance communication with ID card by

reflecting frequency signal, and supply power to chip of the ID card; ID

card responds to commands of the card reader, and reports the results.

CA12 Password keyboard card reader: After reading message stored in the

ID card, it will convey to call control board or to check whether the input

password is the same with the one set; then main control board will decide

to give commands to access or not according to the message received (granting

to access to or needs to register floor signal).

Main control board: installed in COP, to receive, identify ID card &

password; also controls car call buttons. Under some special conditions, such

as elevator maintenance or fire alarms, the controller will remove its control

on the buttons.

(1) ID card reader

1、dimensions:
A、 Dimensions of the card reader：115（L）* 75（W）* 15（T）mm

B、 Card reader drill hole dimension：67mm

C、 To fix the card reader, diameter of top & bottom holes is 5.5mm

The distance from two round holes to the square inductor frame is 10mm

2、Descriptions about installation

Two installation methods：

2.1 Unfold installation：

①drill two holes with diameter of 5.5mm on COP according to install hole position
of the card reader；
②then drill a hole of 12mm at the area of card reader extension line, connects
the extension line to COP bottom box；
③fix the card reader, then put on its cover.
2.2 Conceal installation：
① welding two screws on COP according to install hole position of the card reader；
② then drill a hole on COP according to the edge of card reader, make it fit with
the card reader；
③ fix card reader.

2. System installation description
A、Install signal control board at the appropriate area of COP, and fix it with bracket.
B、Disconnect button common line of COP floor button (floors controlled by ID card, such
as 2-32), and connects one end to line（O1、O2……O32） on ID signal control board，and
the other end to COM1……COM4 of ID signal control board.
C、Connects ID card reader port to J22(7 cores) of signal control board by cable.
D、Connects +24V & GND on J1 of signal control board to DC24V power。

3、 System operation description： （ card reader）

1、 power-on mode:
★ LED displays"--" steadily after power-on, it means standby, then it ca n be
put into use or proceed relative operation；
★ There is no any data about ID card for new card reader, so it will not r eact
to any card；
★ While standby, it will not react when pressing only one button rando mly.
2、 add new cards:
★ when addi ng new ID card, please hold 【S1】and【S2】at the same time for 5seconds,
LED displays “01” (decimal), it means entering into mode of setting, and the displaying
“digit” means the floor No. to be authorized.
★ Press 【S3】or【S4】button, can increase or decrease floor number on LED, w hile
holding【S3】or【S4】button for 2 seconds, floor number can rapidly inc re a s e
or decrea se；
★ After adjusting to the desired floor number, press【S1】once, LED blind s to
display"00"(decimal),and enter into authorization， then swipe all card s
of the desired floor number, this process is done to program card n umber
which can ranges from 0～ 99；
★ Press 【S3】or【S4】 to increase or decrease number displaying on LED(wh ich
means card no.), while holding the button for 2 seconds, number will
rapidly increase or decrease；
★ After adjusting to the desired card no., swipe ID card which needs to be
stored, if it is done correctly, number on LED will increase to the ne xt
number; after 5 seconds, if there is no card to swipe, the light will st op
blinking and goes back to standby ；
★ New add ed card can be any card number among 0～ 99 of 1 ～ 32floor；

★ If resto re an existing number, it will overwrite former data, then the f ormer
card will be invalid ；
★ Under mode of setting, if there is no operation for 5seconds, it wil l go
back auto matically to standby.
3、 Remove card:
★ To remo ve ID card data, please hold 【S1】and【S2】for 5 seconds, LED d isp lay
"01"(decimal), which means entering into setting mode, and displayin g
floor number；
★ Press 【S3】or【S4】button, can increase or decrease floor number on LED, w hile
holding【S3】or【S4】button for 2 seconds, floor number can rapidly inc re a s e
or decrea se；
★ After adjusting to the desired floor number, press【S1】once, LED blind s to
display"00"(decimal),and enter into authorization， then swipe all card s
of the desired floor number, this process is done to program card n umber
which can ranges from 0～ 99；
★ Press 【S3】or【S4】 to increase or decrease number displaying on LED(wh ich
means card no.), while hold ing the button for 2 seconds, number will
rapidly increase or decreas e；
★ After ad justing to the desired card no., to remove cards, swipe ID c ard
which needs to be remove, and press 【S2】to remove relevant ID data; if it is
done corr ectly, LED will display next valid card number automaticall y;
★ When no card number to be removed during the next 5 seconds, it will g oes
back to s tandby automatically；
★ While remove operation, only stored card number will be shown, if so me card
numbers w ithout any data will be skipped；
★ If ther e is no ID card data, it will go directly standby mode；
★Under mode of setting, if there is no operation for 5seconds, it will go back
automatically to standby.

Each unit of password corresponds to each relay output.

2、System program mode：
press【ESC】【program password】【ENT】to enter into system program mode.

3、Function setting（the following operation should be done under the system setting
mode） Note:【floor number】must be double digits，for example 1st floor should be
01.

①Modify program password：

press【0】【new password with 6 digits】【ENT】【repeat input new password】【ENT】
Note: password can be 6 digits randomly.

②Modify using password：

press【1】【floor number】【ENT】【new password with 6 digits】【ENT】【repeat input new
password】【ENT】 to modify 1st unit of password.
Note: Do not set password as“000000”.

③Add user card：

press【3】【floor number】【ENT】【read card】
【read card】……【ENT】 to add user cards read

④Remove user card（two methods）：

press【4】【0】【0】【0】【0】【ENT】 to remove all user card(renew all passwords to load
defaults)

⑤Set ACCESS TO mode：factory set：0

press【5】【0】【ENT】 to read valid card to access to.
press【5】【1】【ENT】 to read valid card and input correct password to access to.
press【5】【2】【ENT】 to read valid card or input correct password to access to.

⑥Set time of access-to command button:

press【6】【x】【x】【ENT】 factory set：05 Note: xx as 00-99，the unit is second.

⑦Set mode of cancelling control 设置取消控制模式：

press【9】【0】【ENT】 mode of cancelling control: breakover all relays until power-off;
press【9】【1】【ENT】 mode of access to control: normal working mode

⑧Store settings and exit：

press【ESC】

Note: all 【floor number】should be double digits, for example 5th floor, input 05,
15th floor, input 15.

Pay attention to some conditions during transmitting program：

Otherwise LED will blink and card swiping become abnormal.

74164-2803 needs to serial in serial in a 1K resistor.
Factory password needs to be set: set card reading mode as 5, set ACCESS-TO mode as
2, otherwise password input will not effect.
