1. PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to describe how to reconfiguring or modifying IPBR (IP-based route)
parameter of Committed Bandwidth of Iub termination. This configuration is applied in both sides,
that is, either in RNC IPBR and IuB or interface IP of NB side.

2. OVERVIEW

To reconfigure parameter of IPBR of Iub, is able to be done via MML command for IPA-RNC or sCLI
of fsclish for mcRNC. It is also via XML Provisioning. The parameter change refers to NCR Object
Plan.

 b. IPBR Configuration via sCLI
Use the set ipro command to change settings of the IP address and IP-based route association
Example :
Show ipbr to check the IP-based route configuration.

set networking ipbr ipbr-id 419 route-bandwidth 42000 committed-bandwidth 30000….

c. IPBR Configuration via XML

- IPBR On NB (FTM) Side

In NB (FTM) side is also configured base on NCR purposed. It is done via BTS Manager of IP BTS
parameter with OM BTS is ON to be monitored.

WBTS Reset may be required in order to the parameter change is applied.

Ensure no new alarm and all WCELs state are up as previously before leaving from the Site.

3. Rollback

If the fallback must be needed, it is able to be done as describes above. BTS (NB) must be connected via
BTS Manager.
