Eduardo Freitas - Clarinetist

Born in São Paulo, Eduardo Freitas start his studies at EMESP in 2000, subsequently
joined in the Bachelor of Music at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) with
Teacher Sérgio Burgani. He participated in several Festivals: as Campos do Jordão
International Winter Festival, Curitiba Music Workshop and Tatuí Music Workshop,
also in several MasterClass with renowned artists such as François Sauzeau, Olivier
Patey, Wenzel Fuchs, Ralph Mano, Ovanir Buosi , Cristiano Alves and Luis Eugênio
(Montanha).
Participated in 2011 as guest for recording of Symphony No. 4 of Villa Lobos by
OSESP, and also as a guest musician in the Symphony Orchestra of Campinas.
Worked with following conductors, Isaac Karabtchevsky, Lazlo Marosi, Benito Juárez,
Dario Sotelo, Osvaldo Ferreira, Roberto Tibiriçá, Yan Pascal Tortelier.
He was a member of the Brazilian Army Symphonic Band, the Symphonic Band, the
Cubatão Symphonic Band, the Guarulhos Symphony Orchestra, the São José dos
Campos Symphony Orchestra and the Symphonic Band of the State of São Paulo.
He is currently Clarinetist of the UNICAMP Symphony Orchestra and the Orquestra
Rock.
