BSI sends a notification when there is a new TUB available

Log in to BSI
Navigate to the Product Maintenance Tab
In the Choose Product drop down selection, select TaxFactory
Under Maintenance, click on the Regulatory Bulletins link
Select BSI TaxFactory 10.0 Regulatory Bulletins from the drop down menu
Available TUBs are listed
Click on the links under the column Bulletin to download the Regulatory Bulletin document
Click on the links under the column Download to download the TUB “.nrq” data files

Log in to the BSI TaxFactory client
Connect to Data Set by clicking on Data Set ID 100
On the Welcome screen of DEV data set 100
Select System Tools
On the System Tools screen, under Maintenance Tools, click on Manual Update.

Note the Regulatory Bulletin level before update, the level is 158.

Choose File, navigate to save location of TUB “.nrq” data files and select

Click Process to apply TUB data file
Manual Update Load Status is shown as Done
You may review the generated files from the Manual Update as linked
Regulatory Bulletin level is updated to level 159
Choose File, navigate to save location of TUB “.nrq” data files and select then proceed with process steps as well.
Unlike TaxFactory, no need to process TUBS sequentially.
Choose File, navigate to save location of TUB “.nrq” data files and select then proceed with process steps as well.
Click Process to apply TUB data file
Manual Update Load Status upon completion indicates Done.
You may review the generated files from the Manual Update as linked
Updating DEV TUB level will update QA as well.
In transaction HRPAYUS_SYNC_TAX_DT – Synchronization Tax Data Report (US), the Regulatory level in BSI is displayed
After executing a Test Run, warning messages regarding the mapping of new authorities to BSI are mentioned
Leave Effective Dates as blank
Execute a Productive Run
Upon checking the History, you can view the TB level of the Cross-Client productive run history
Or the Client-Specific productive run history
A warning message will appear before proceeding with the Productive Run
All new entries delivered by TUBS are synchronized and saved in SAP. Note the warning message that mentions the need to map tax
authorities in BSI using the corresponding SAP codes.

Under statistics, all the successful entries made in SAP are listed

After the Productive Run, Regulatory levels are now matched between BSI and SAP.

Click Transport Cross-Client Tables to create and save the Workbench transport
Click Transport Client-Specific Tables to create and save the Workbench transport
Latest productive run in the Cross-Client history is level 160
Latest productive run in the Client-Specific history is level 160
Create and save the Cross-Client transport request
Create and save the Client-Specific transport request
SAP and BSI TUB levels are in sync
Payroll run results also indicate that SAP and BSI TUB levels are in sync.
