Blum, Press Release April 16, 2019 The story about Lockland Mayor's Court posted by the ACLU is a decade old. It fails to contain facts enough to even be able to investigate it. More importantly the posted story does not reflect how The Lockland Mayor's Court runs today. For years Lockland has had a professionally trained and certified Referee overseeing Mayor's Court. A year ago, Lockland went a step beyond that retaining retired Judge and former US Attorney Norbert Nadel to conduct Mayor’s Court. Whatever criticism some may have had of Mayor's Courts controlled by the local Mayor, that is certainly not the case in 2019 in Lockland.
