Self-concept
For someone who has autism the way the view the world
as well as themselves can be quite different form a non
autistic person. There are many autistic people who go on
to become very successful and have a normal life but
there are many people who feel trapped in a loop and can
become depressed as a result of the autism because they
may not learn as quick as anyone else in the class the
chance of them going on to have a successful education
are quite slim. There self concept can be lowered as a
result of autism

Confidence
Client self-determination
as I said earlier the brain development in a person with
autism can be slowed down or even become stuck in a set
ways that why life long treatment is easy there is group
run buy the local mental heath team that organize trips
out and a day center for people to talk play games and
meet new people its important to keep in mind that it can
get hostile in this environment example if one person
thing the other is cheating on the game they would kick
up quite a fuss as the logical part of the brain can in some
case be stronger that the emotional part wont take
empathy to the other person and could result in a fight.
Procedures are set up in place to avoid this like cool off
room we they can talk about what happened. As the brain
development is slowed down determination in some cases
has to be set by the career worker small task giving praise
and rewards.

What is Amputation?
Causes

Normalization
Employment
Under the discrimination act 1997, it would be wrong for a
company to say that an amputee can not do certain roles
example working in a office using the telephone as long as
the person with loss of the limb has come to team with it
and recovered the coping methods are taken over in the
brain so you could gain new ways of how to archive a task
even typing can be successful

Confidence
In the local town hall they will know of group that are set
in place for people to meet this gives the person a sense
of there not on there own. And allows them to see other
amputee’s, confidence can come though overcoming
there disability it will give them a great sense of pride
about themselves allowing them to move on with there life
and do normal day to day activities.
Client self-determination
The way they have control over there own life’s writing of
instruction and lip reading someone who has recently
under gone an amputee mite suffer with confidence issue
or self determination, it can take along time to come to
terms with the loss of a limb for people who are born with
deformities they are used to being able to cope it can still
be hard but they have more determination and can often
counsel others who have lost a limb I ways to cope.
What is deafness?
Causes
Most people who suffer form deafness will wear some sort
of hearing device i.e. a hearing aid this is a visual sign that
the person is rather one of the above category’s if they
are completely deaf then sign language can be used by
the person to commentate with people

hear and live without the disability but for people who
