Dear Motor City Match Applicant,

Thank you for applying to Round 15 of the Motor City Match Business Owner Track.
Your application was one of nearly 100 submissions received. We are pleased to inform
you that your business has been selected as an awardee for the Business Plan award
track, pending the approval of our Board Committee. Business Plan awardees will receive
a free business planning class from one of our business planning partners.

Your Next Steps:

§ We will be hosting a business planning workshop for awardees. This will give
you the opportunity to ask questions about the classes and Motor City Match, as
well as, learn the keys to being a successful business owner. You will receive an
Eventbrite link with information on how to register for this event. Please
remember to check your junk email or spam folder to ensure that you do not miss
any emails.
§ After the workshop, you will receive an email to select your business planning
class. You will only be allowed to miss one class and will be required to submit
the latest draft of your business plan after each session; therefore, please plan
accordingly so that you will be able to attend every session.

Our Next Steps:

§ We will meet with our Board Committee soon to decide if your award will be
approved.
§ If your business is approved by our Board Committee, we will be contacting you
to confirm your award status.

Applying for Higher Level Awards:

§ You will need to attach a business plan to your next Motor City Match application
to be considered for higher level awards; therefore, you should wait until you
have completed your business planning course before applying for another award.
