BAD EXPERIENCE IN RECOUNT TEXT FOR TEACHING WRITING SKILL IN 8TH JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

A. INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, using manual media in teaching learning english is not effective for teacher
also the student. Beside that, the teacher get difficulties to teach with that. More over, the
students get some confusing and can’t get understanding with what the teacher has explained.
Bases on the reason, to improve the effectiveness in teaching and learning English, we use
computer based learning. By using cbm, students are more interested in because there are
various ways in there and it seems like a real media. In this case, the writers try to use cartoon
story maker and windows life movie maker to support teaching and learning process.

C. DISCUSSION
1. First, we prepare our laptop and turn on the LCD.
2. Second, we explained general information about recount text : what is recount text?, and
what is the goal of the text ?
3. We show our video by CSM and WLMM.
4. Stop the video in structure of recount text.
5. Ask the students to understand it well.
6. After understanding the video, ask your students again to make a simple recount text.
7. After finishing the task in the last week, in the next meeting, invite some of students to
retell based on their writing.
8. Close the meeting with brief conclusion about recount text about moral value in each
experience that has been explained.
