A. Department Matters
The first part of the Learning Action Cell is the discussion of the tasks that are needed to be
accomplished by the Department. This part was headed by Mrs. Eden S. Templonuevo. The
following topics have been discussed and decided upon:
 Welcoming the new teachers in the department
 Change of schedule and teaching load
 Commendations for attendance and accomplished reports
 Plans on History Month headed by Mrs. Rodetta Estrada and Mr. Rajenn Pintado.
 Reminders about the punctuality and submission of DLL
 Introducing the Results Based Performance Management System
 Format of summative and formative exams
 Upcoming events and dates such as ASEAN World History and Economics Quizbee
UN Symposium, and debate.
 Reminders about the division demonstration teaching to be attended on opposite
sessions

B. Instructional Planning
 The main topic for this Learning Action Cell is Instructional Planning. Mr. Markie Española
served as the speaker for this LAC He talked about the alignment of the curriculum
standards, instruction an assessment, contextualization of the lesson plans and the
different parts of the Daily Lesson Log.

 The main topic for this Learning Action Cell is Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. The
speaker for this part is Mrs. Rodetta Estrada. She discussed these seven habits and applied
themin the teaching profession.

this part is Mr. Joel S. Sulit. He discussed te strategies and techniques for an effective
classroom management contextualized in our school. He based the discussion on the
experiences of teachers in the department. He also discussed the guidelines for classroom
management.
