Greetings!
In support with the “Walk the Talk” program of NEUST, may we request for your approval
for the 5th year Electrical Engineering students to conduct the following in all the buildings in
Sumacab Campus:
a) Electrical Safety Inspection
In line with EE541 Electrical Engineering Safety: Electrical Safety Inspections that
will be done on site is only visual check on Electrical Safety aspect and no power
interruption will be done on the facility/Building.

b) Electrical Load Survey

Electrical Load Survey will be done; listing of all existing electrical loads that will
be used as basis in the design for Item C.

c) Make a Micro-Power Plant/Solar Rooftop feasibility design to each individual building

in Sumacab Campus.
In line EE543 Power Plant Engineering: Solar Power System, students will make a
feasibility design a solar PV Power system that can be used by the facility/building.

Coordination with the respective Deans/Office in Charge will be done prior to the conduct
of the said activity.

Rest assured all the information that will be gathered will be treated as confidential and
will only be used in the classroom discussions and learning experience of students in conducting
the said activity.
