 This has been my most impactful clinical experience in the program because I had amazing
nurses and preceptor to work with that taught and encouraged me throughout the shifts. I
was able to implement my clinical skills such as: patient assessments, IV insertion, urinary
catheter insertion and removal, preoperative and postoperative duties with cesarean
sections, and therapeutic communication. I was able to take the lead with our laboring
patients and our recovering patients. Additionally, my confidence has risen since the first
day.
